"This group was made up of 7th-12th graders from our classical Christian school (and adults). Our school has a house system and has an ongoing competition, and this group of boys won! This house was selected for their retreat, and they thoroughly enjoyed the house and their time up north. The chaperones said the homeowners were easy to contact regarding access and if anything came up. Thank you for a great retreat! We would highly recommend this home for any large or small groups!!"

"The house was gorgeous and the host was great! The layout is perfect for a group and the pool and backyard were amazing! Close to beaches and lots to do on property. It’s an amazing place and we had so much fun."

"Check in was easy. We just had to stop at the first cabin to check in, and the owner then met us at the cabin we were staying and showed us around. Kitchen was cute and cozy located in the original portion of the cabin with all the essentials. Cabin was perfect for what we needed, had a great pine smell with high ceilings and comfortable furniture. Small shaded deck with a fire ring and grill that looks out to the pond. "The Eagle’s Nest was an awesome place to stay for a week! The Blue Heron property was immaculate. The network of stairways was fun for our youngest to play hide and seek on. Three docks to fish from and plenty of beachfront. Even on the hottest days we could still find shade on the beach. The lake was great, not busy. 7 of us stayed and we were comfortable. Way worth the trip!"

"The location on the river is amazing. Even better than we expected. Pricing is on point. We found it very relaxing in the mornings to sit out front and have a coffee. In the afternoons it was fun to swim and watch the boats go by. We did some fishing and caught some bluegill and perch.The host were very friendly and had great communication. I would give the hosts & rental 10 stars if I could but it only allows me to give 5!"

"The checkin process was easy and the place was very clean and accurate to listing. We were able to find everything that we needed easily. We had a great time in the kayaks and really enjoyed the outdoor shower (which was so great to not track sand and dirt everywhere!). Plenty of games to play and movies to watch. The kids each had their own areas and were very comfortable."

"Rented this home for our adult daughter/husband & their family w/boyfriend & girlfriend. Absolutely loved the pontoon boat & relaxation on the lake. Beautiful inside the new kitchen & all over! Plenty of storage & seating. Hot tub water so clean! Enjoyed the covered porch w/chairs."

"This was our second summer at the Beach House. Next summer is already booked. I bring my children and grandchildren so that I can share how I grew up along Lake Michigan, making memories with them. The House feels like home. "

"This property is beautiful, and the attention to detail above and beyond! Thick towels, comfy beds, indoor and outdoor games, a huge television, and a first class kitchen with great appliances, lovely dishes and sumptious cookware. There is a huge backyard and a fantastic view of the water from the large kitchen windows and back deck. We had a very enjoyable stay."

"We had a nice experience staying here. Don was very kind and friendly.. he supplied all the amenities you’d be looking for except for TV and Wi-Fi. The cabin was very well maintained and clean. He had a stack of firewood with fire starters If you want to have a fire, there was a grill available upon request. It’s only 10 minutes from Baldwin. It’s a great jump off point for going to places like Leland Traverse City. We took a day and drove up M22 . We enjoyed exploring Michigan. I would rent it...

"WOW!! The pictures in the listing don't do this place justice. It is SO nice! When we arrived, the place was super clean, and though it's in town it was quiet inside.
