"A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub. The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. "We have stayed here a few times about 9 years ago when we had reasons to be in north Devon. We were pleased to have had another opportunity last week. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a first rate bathroom. We had a very enjoyable dinner, some lovely wine and a splendid breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we really hope to be able to visit again sometime. Thank you!"

"I had a wonderful one night stay at the Coach Inn while passing through. The facilities at the inn are great and I would thoroughly recommend it. One comment for consideration the bedroom window was screwed shut in my room no 9, the room gets full sun making it hot with no air so it would be a major benefit to be able to open it for some fresh air, my suggestion would be to fit some stops instead of it being screwed shut so it could open say 8" or so. "Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront. Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well. Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet. Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away."

"A very warm welcome from Caroline to a beautiful house overlooking the surrounding countryside and near the church. Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities in the room (plus bonus cake - always welcome!) and a great breakfast selection. It was particularly nice to have the option of pancakes in addition to the usual full English or cereals, pastry and yoghurt. Walking distance to Innstow restaurants."

"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. The place was immaculate, hosts are extremely friendly and everything about the trip was perfect and as described. We will certainly be returning."
