Beautifully remodeled canal home in Surfside Shores that sleeps 14 comfortably in 5 bedrooms with 3 baths (plus extra bath downstairs). Enjoy easy access to the beach 1/2 mile from your doorstep while having the added benefit of a convenient boat dock and fishing pier off the back yard. Covered and sun-filled decks on two sides of the house give you and your guests the option to enjoy coffee during a splendid sunrise or whatever you choose to refresh during sunset. Direct access to bays, creeks and the Gulf of Mexico in addition to pier fishing. Nearby marina, shops and restaurants in case you need extra goodies.

Xfinity cable and Wi-Fi, Netflix and an air hockey table to entertain indoors. Deck chairs, a picnic table, bean bag game and parking for up to 8 vehicles on the outside. Nicely appointed kitchen has been remodeled to include new appliances and both styles of coffee maker. RO water filter in kitchen and whole-house filtration system. Portable baby bed, 2 highchairs and a baby gate available for family vacations.

Newly updated fisherman's room downstairs with extra freezer (7.1 cu ft.), shelves for gear, sink, toilet and shower! Dock has also been rebuilt and can handle 32' - 38' boat parallel (larger at angle or perpendicular).

Great Stay

This was our second stay, and we’ll definitely keep coming back! It’s perfect for all ages, exactly as described, and always clean and comfortable. The location is ideal—just a short drive to the beach and close to great restaurants. Highly recommend!

Another Great Stay

This is the 4th or 5th time we’ve rented this house. It’s perfect for our yearly multi-generational beach trip. There’s plenty of space for everyone, lots of included amenities, and the location on the canal is perfect for our fishing loving boys. We will be back!

Great Family Home

The property is amazing! Plenty of room for families, fully stocked kitchen, beach items, ping pong table, air hockey....the entertainment was endless for our heard of kids! The company was helpful and responsive when we had questions or minor issues. We definitely recommend this home.

Family Trip

The location was perfect. Being able to walk outside and fish off the dock was great. Plenty of space for our family. Stores close by and restaurants. We were also able to rent a golf cart. The only negative we had was how strong the sulfur smell was anytime we ran the water.

We loved this house

This rental was my first time using VRBO. I was fortunate to find such a beautiful home for my family to rent. The check-in & out process was easy. Communication with the owner was great! The house is gorgeous. We loved the layout and all the extras that were included. I would absolutely rent it again. I highly recommend this house if you are looking-I doubt you will be disappointed.

Great family trip

We had such a great time here and are looking forward to book again! The house is very clean and accommodating. Everything as listed and more. Its location is perfect, very peaceful, but no more than a quick 3-5min drive to beaches , restaurants etc.. Matt was great as well!

3 Generation Trip

This is our second stay in this house and we love it! So much room, everything you could need and very close to restaurants, bars and the beach. & if you don't feel like going out you can fish off the dock, play air hockey, ping pong or corn hole. We had ages ranging from 21 - 70 and there was something for everyone.

Perfect location - beach + fishing!

So much to do for our family holiday weekend! Comfortably slept 10 — adult couples got their own room and the kids loved the bunk bed room. The living room and kitchen are open, perfect for group conversations and memories made. The kiddos stayed busy with the ping pong and air hockey tables. We had a line in the water from the back porch most of the time. Caught an 18” inch trout on the property that we filleted right there on the dock table! Brought our own underwater fishing light, didn’t have much success. However, the neighbors across the canal have four gigantic above water fishing lights. When they turned those on, it lit up like a football field, and action increased. Also fished in the bay, pier, jetties and surf - all within 10 minutes from the house. Crazy convenient for the fishing enthusiasts, with many options. The bait shops are minutes away. We were on the beach during the day, which was just a few minutes away, just across the highway. So easy. Restaurants less than a mile as well. The location of this house is outstanding - no one will be bored if you’re looking for anything mentioned above. Have a great time!

We loved it!

Pictures don’t do the place justice. It’s a gorgeous home with plenty of space. Great little fishing spot out back, and room to hang out with the family! We had children ranging from 2-11 and they stayed entertained the whole time. Not a far drive from the beach or store if you needed something. Overall it was perfect for us.

Great House, Lots of Room

We had a great time staying in this home! We were 8 adults and 1 baby. My brothers family who lives down the street came over and there was plenty of room for us to gather and visit in the big living and kitchen area. Nice deck and area on the canal. We definitely hope to stay here again! 😀

Another Great Stay!

This house is perfect for our yearly extended family beach trip! This is the third time we stayed here. It has everything we need - kitchen amenities, plenty of beds for everyone, a huge table that we all can sit at together, boat dock, fire pit, etc. We always enjoy our stay.

Great location and spacious layout

Great spacious layout and canal was perfect to fit our 39’ boat. Had a great time and can’t wait to return. In my opinion, one of the best locations for larger groups in surfside that we have found.

Perfect Weekend Getaway with family

Koko Karla was a WONDERFUL place to stay! The house was even better than the pictures. The house was perfectly appointed for our group of 11 to stay. Everyone had a nice bedroom to stay in, the house had enough living space for everyone to be together in one place when wanted and also in separate places when desired. We enjoyed being able to fish right off the back, while also being a quick trip over to the beach. The kids enjoyed playing air hockey and corn hole. It was comfortable and well cared for. It’s obvious Koko Karla is a place that is truly loved by it’s owners.

Yearly Fishing Trip

House has a lot of room. Could sleep close to 20 if needed! Kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, plates, cups, coffee etc. Game area is very nice! Water pressure could have been a little better but overall a very nice house. We will be bringing the family down soon and will use this property again!
