A perfect place to stay! Cozy, clean, and comfortable with relaxing views of nature from the back porch. This place has everything you need and the hosts are wonderful. If we ever visit the area again, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great location just outside of Main St. The wildlife was fantastic as was the cottage. Communication from the host was the best. Highly recommend this place.

The cottage was so clean with a farmhouse feel but with all the modern commodities. Very peaceful and relaxing. My husband and I will plan to revisit in the future. Lynn and Jerry were great people to arrange our stay.

We love staying here. Accommodations are always on point, squeaky clean, inside and out, seasonal decor everywhere, and the wildlife viewing is exceptional. Very close to dining and shopping but it doesn’t feel that way while you are there. A treasure for sure!!!

The house was amazing. It is beautifully decorated. The deer outside the windows were so much fun to watch. The house is super close to town and it made going places quick and easy.

this is an outstanding property! Lynn and Jerry provide an excellent house coupled with literally everything guests need to feel at home. The property is clean and fresh and the location provides great solitude! we have stayed in many VRBO properties but this is the best all around!

We will always come back to the Cottage on Spoted Fawn in Fredericksburg. This home away from home was the best. We sat on the back patio and watched the beautiful deer, birds, hummers and enjoyed the awesome sunsets. We felt like we needed more than three nights. Next time. I can’t say enough about it. The BEST!

The cottage was amazing. You truly felt welcome from the moment you walked in. The wildlife in the back were fun to watch. The deer are definitely used to people feeding them. The patio was awesome to sit on when not out exploring the area.

The cottage was very clean and there were many amenities. There were lots of deer, hummingbirds and some foxes right off the back porch. The deer came up to be fed all the time and it is very cool to watch them. Lynn and Jerry were great hosts and I would recommend this cottage to everyone. We plan on coming back around October time frame and rent it again.

We will be back! Very cozy cottage and the dear at the fence line every morning was a surprise. The TV signal and lag time could be better, but that’s not a complaint just an observation.

Awesome property! The. House was spotless and well stocked. We had everything we needed for our stay. The back porch was peaceful and relaxing. Lynn and Jerry are excellent hosts. We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to the hill country.

We love the serene back porch and daily visits from the whitetail deer and birds of many kinds! Meanwhile, it’s a short drive (6 minutes tops) to the food and shopping that make Fredericksburg the fun place it is. The hosts create a special atmosphere with seasonal decor, spotless kitchen and snacks and tons of information about the area. We love the Cottage on Spotted Fawn!
The deer come in ar dawn and dusk to enjoy corn that’s provided by the hosts. Peaceful entertainment!

Located next to a working ranch the cottage offers privacy and views of grazing deer and numerous types of birds. We spent warm evenings on the patio, cooler evenings in front of the cozy fireplace. Lynn and Jerry provide almost everything you may need, even things you may have forgotten at home. A truly marvelous experience!
