An Unforgetable Experience
We can't say enough good things about our time at Slice of the Mountain Cabin. First of all, it is beautiful both inside and out. It is a real log cabin which adds to the ambience. The first thing I noticed when I stepped out of the car is how quiet and peaceful it was. No traffic noise, neighbors or construction. Only birds and the sound of a nearby waterfall and the view is absolutely breathtaking. Ahhhh. I would never get tired of looking at those beautiful mountains. The clouds, fog and sunshine make it a fresh experience every time you look at it.
When we drove into Franklin the next day we fell in love with this little town. I has a cute downtown with some nice restaurants and cute shops. Great place to walk around and browse. There are grocery stores, and a Walmart conveniently located. In other words, this place has it all. We can't wait till we can go back.
When we entered the cabin and started looking around, we found that the owners have thought of everything you might need or want during you stay. The kitchen has every kitchen tool you could want including full size appliances. There is wood for the fireplace (too warm during our visit), a gas grill, games and puzzles, Large TVs in the Living Room, Master Bedroom and second Bedroom.
