We had a family member visiting from out of state and just wanted somewhere to relax, spend quality time and unwind while giving her the a country living experience. This house was perfect! Spacious, clean and in an area that allowed us the freedom to have the our kids run around without too much worry of noise. The fire pit and hot tub were perfect to enjoy the night sky and our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely book again!

We really loved this house and it was perfect for our group (family of 5 and 2 grandparents). The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We also loved how secluded the house was in the country, but also not too far away from anything! Great place to stay! If we ever came back to the area, we would stay again!

Great place for a hunting weekend!

Very comfortable stay for a few old guys on a hunting trip. Had everything we needed and was very clean and private. Would definitely stay again!

KY Trip!

My friend and I came out to stay to enjoy the Kentucky Renaissance fair and additionally got to stay in this beautiful home! While slightly less secluded than anticipated, we had an amazing time, enjoyed the gorgeous scenery, and loved the space!

Family getaway

We enjoyed the location that was secluded, but also close enough to town if we needed anything. Just perfect for our family of 4! Would definitely recommend and visit again if we are in the area!

Perfect for Bourbon Weekend!

Great location near several distilleries, and only an hour to Louisville. Very clean with everything we needed, and the one barn cat was a darling! We would stay again!

Bourbon and Golf Extravaganza

Great location to make Frankfort Bourbon Tastings and Golfing in Lexington, Louisville and even Indianna possible. Hope to make it back and will definitely consider this Hillsode Haven again

Heavenly

The scenery and setting of this home is heavenly. I spent most of our visit on the patio. The house was also very nice and had everything we needed. It was a perfect getaway and I will definitely want to go back. And Buffalo Trace and historic Frankfort were a close drive as well as Cove Spring Park which had great hiking. Thanks for a getaway spot I didnt want to leave.

Family Bourbon trip!

Loved the place, so relaxing.. loved being able to sit out back enjoyed the fire make s’mores and make memories. The house was exactly what we needed except maybe another bathroom.. lol… we had to set a bathroom schedule… the house was just perfect! So close to the best distilleries Buffalo trace/ woodford reserve and castle key! Would highly recommend this place.. thanks
