Very comfortable, stone cottage in Fowler’s Bay

Ruth's cottage offers very comfortable accommodation for a visit to this remote part of South Australia. Features 4 spacious bedrooms, main with en-suite, 2 other toilets and shower, large modern kitchen, spacious lounge/dining room with a very warm combustion heater (wood supplied), large rear veranda with gas BBQ, open fire pit for those cosy evening fires. Whale watching tours and take away foods available within close proximity.

On a still night you can hear the nearby whale calls from your bedroom and gaze at the stars through your bedroom window, quiet and relaxing. You can relax unwind and recharge.

Please note linen is not supplied, please bring your own
- Bed sheets, quilt, blankets, pillows cases and towels
- Pillows supplied unless you'd like to bring your favourite!

Clean Well organised Lots of kitchen gear, playters salad bowls etc.Knob missing for the gas oven so hard to use.Fantastic location, back entertaining area and firepit. My bed was so comfortable.Would stay again

Exceptional stay, house is just gorgeous. Well worth the stay, to have the fabulous facilities of the house and stunning backyard entertainment area. Previous stays at caravan park at Fowlers Bay has been a challenge with their toilet facilities. Ruth's Cottage is the best

Stayed three nights in the cottage in Fowlers Bay. Handy to whale watching cruise we did and travel to the head of the Bight. Cottage was spacious and a great entertainer. Large outdoor area with BBQ, large living areas, two bathrooms, huge lounge/dining area. Separate kitchen. Wished I had brought more people with us, would be great for two families to share. We didn't have issues with running out of gas or electricity - just follow the rules. TV reception is a bit hit and miss but not a problem for us. Overall, a great holiday home and would highly recommend and would stay again.

Is an amazing place to stay. So much room and all the comforts of home. We stayed there so we could go to the head of the bight to see the whales. Would definitely stay there again.
