"We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay."

"Efficient check-in. I received a detailed message via VRBO from owner a few days before arrival. The email contained all the information regarding the rental and surrounding area. The directions to the rental made it easy to find. This rental is handicapped accessible with no entry stairs, first floor bedroom and bathroom with easy shower entry. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the quiet seclusion. "

"You can’t beat this central location in downtown Lanesboro. Walking distance to absolutely everything. Spacious house with several beautiful outdoor seating arrangements. Private parking spaces in back or public spaces in front & across the street from the house made parking convenient. Very updated & modern interior finishes & appliances….and comfy beds too. Hosts Jim & Jill were very communicative. If we ever visit Lanesboro again, we’d book a stay here for sure. "

"We had a fantastic stay, really appreciated the proximity to all sorts of fun family activities - we did the Mystery Cave Scenic Tour, our own Amish country driving tour (courtesy of the host supplied map), biked a ton, went to the community pool, did a few of the "nine hole" fishing spots in Preston (stop by Curt's and/or Driftless Flying Fishing for tips), and went for a tube float down the Root River with Root River Outfitters. "Very remote and secluded location for total privacy. We enjoyed the fire pit, cornhole, giant Jenga, pool table, and outdoor exploring. It was perfect for our family group of 9 ranging in ages from 12-80.The property is about equal distance from Rushford and Houston so we explored both communities as well as visiting Lanesboro during Buffalo Bill Days.
