"We had a great stay, lovely and clean. Thank you for the welcome pack. Great base to visit the surrounding area. There is a village shop that sells lovely produce, and the Swan pub is a very friendly. Great chip shop . If we come back to Northumberland we would definitely stay here again. "

"If i had to sum the cottage and the holiday in one word it would be Heaven but There is not much else can be said for this amazing place that would do it justice you have to experience it for yourself We were so lucky we found it and hope to get back again next year "

"The apartment is charming, atop the watchtower in a restored mill, & the main living-room/kitchen is lovely, with sloping ceilings, dormer windows & huge fridge & plenty of seating. "The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. "The Counting House was perfect for our week in Northumberland. It was very comfortable and clean and we felt very at home there. "

"The cottage is hidden away in the heart of Wooler village and is a great base for walks (I'd recommend the short walk to Wooler Common) and visits to local towns, beaches and attractions. It had ample parking and was comfortable for our family of 4. The cottage is well maintained and decorated beautifully and it felt like home for our stay. Communication with hosts was friendly, clear and efficient and check-in and out was easy."

"The Gate House is exactly as described. The property is small but very well appointed (in fact, it felt the perfect size). The host was quick to respond to queries and both thoughtful and detailed in replies. The views of the surrounding landscape are beautiful. The hot tub is nice.
