"Great location. House is clean. The finishes and equipment/utensils are all high-end. The property owner is super responsive and accommodating. The long dock off the back of the property is awesome. We saw plenty of fish, crabs, birds, and porpoises during our stay. If you like crabbing and fishing and sipping wine on the water; stay here! "

"Excellent stay. Everything was clean and very cozy. Vicki put together a book of local suggestions which was helpful for dinner ideas and things to do. Area was very private and a wonderful place to stay."

"This is a lovely quiet property on the water. It was the best supplied property I’ve ever stayed in with food in the cupboard and fridge and bath room toiletries, even an extra toothbrush. (Good thing because I forgot mine.) There’s plenty of room to spread out and even a pool table. Highly recommended for your next trip to this wonderful little corner of the world. "

"Great stay and fantastic views. Felt like we were isolated, yet only 10 minutes from Kilmarnock. Enjoyed the great blue heron, seagulls, nuthatches and humming bird that were around the property. Large rooms and plenty of space to spread out."

"Property manager canceled my stay with no notice. I had already driven a great distance to be there. Took several days for them to issue the refund despite the fact that they canceled the reservation same day. Actually they told me I had to cancel the reservation on my end. I assume this was so they would still get the money from the reservation, but I called to cancel it and explain the situation. Long story short don’t book here."

"We’ve stayed at the cottage at least 7 times, and without fail, our stay have been wonderful. Our dog loves the private beach and the outdoor shower comes in handy. The cottage offers a beautiful view of the sunset. The restaurants in the area (downtown Mathews) and Hole in the Wall (right on the island) are great and super dog friendly with outdoor seating. Last but not least, the cottage host is super responsive and prepared us well for every stay. I’m afraid saying this might mean it’ll be...

"We cooked all our meals using both kitchens and had plenty of room and supplies to do so. Absolutely loved the grill and outdoor seating arrangements. We had plenty of room for everyone and the home matched exactly as advertised. "
