Relax with the whole family at this peaceful property just outside Dallas/Ft Worth. This delightful home sleeps up to 8 and boasts comfy living spaces, a spacious kitchen, and a backyard pool. Mansfield offers the best of both worlds in being close to the big city, minutes from stores and dining, and yet maintaining a small town feel with friendly neighbors and easy to navigate streets. 35 minutes to DFW airport, 25 minutes to Six Flags, 40 minutes to downtown Dallas, 20 minutes to Midlothian and Waxahatchie.

The space
The POOL! The pool is a salt water system and is surrounded by a security fence. It is deepest in the middle at just under 6 ft.
PLEASE NOTE that there is a security camera by the back door that covers the patio and pool area. This is for liability reasons and checking up on our maintenance crews but is not monitored on a regual basis.

The livingroom was designed with comfort in mind with a cozy sectional and a 74" smart TV with Netflix provided. The dining room has seating for 8. The kitchen is stocked with basic amenities and there is bar seating at the island. Off the kitchen is a nice sitting area with a wood burning fireplace and couch. The two player arcade has a huge assortment of games for you to enjoy.
Also on the main floor is a small laundry room and a half bath.

**All the bedrooms are on the second floor** as well as the office (also the 4th bedroom) and the main bathroom. The office has a desk and a day bed with a trundle. The office is open to the livingroom below. The primary bedroom has a king bed, sitting area, and a large onsuite bathroom with a large tub as well as a shower. The two secondary bedrooms have queen beds.

We have 1 gig ethernet connection throughout the house.

The house has been recently updated with guest comfort in mind, including flooring on the second level, fresh paint in many areas, heat pump for pool, and other minor upgrades.

Great Place For a Night Away

My teenage daughter wanted a sleepover for a few friends, but our house in Arlington is really small. We found this home to rent, with the bonus factor of having a pool! The girls had a great time and plenty of room to spread out and enjoy being together without feeling like we were all in eachother's space and way. I also got good sleep in the primary bedroom away from all the giggling! Everything was pretty clean and we had plenty of dishes, bath towels and pool towels for our group.

Short Family Weekend Stay

Convenient and comfortable

We visited for a wedding and needed a central location. The house was in a great spot, not too busy, close to anything we needed, and close to relatives and venue. We were able to walk to the nature park nearby, so that was a bonus.The house was spacious and well stocked for our short stay. The owners were quick to respond, friendly, and accommodating. The beds and living spaces were comfortable.My only reason for not giving five stars is that the house smelled a bit like smoke and the yard (front and back) was unkept looking. The smell was unpleasant, but not overwhelming. The yard was not a problem for us, just would’ve been nice if the backyard was less messy.

Christmas Visit

This house was perfect for our group of five adults and two children. Everyone loved the arcade table & all the amenities we needed were provided. There was even a Christmas tree which was a wonderful touch. We would like to stay here again next time we visit.

VRBO NIGHTMARE

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOUSE!!! Yes, the pictures look great; the house, however, is a complete disaster. Everything in the house is broken and disgusting! I notified the host daily and texted her pictures daily. These are the issues we faced during our 5-day stay: not our garbage overflowing outside with critters getting into it. The whole house was dusty and dirty. Light bulbs burnt out throughout the house. The kitchen was dirty, with stuck-on food on pans and dishes, food on countertops, and grime on the microwave. The living room rug was curled up and a major trip hazard. The grill was filthy. The pool was filthy and disgusting; it had a green film on it. The backyard was dirty and had deflated pool floaties and toys all over. RED LITTLE BUGS EVERYWHERE INSIDE. COCKROACHES spotted in this house! Bathrooms have black mold everywhere. Bathroom sinks are clogged. I’m sure the host will respond, “I offered to send cleaners, but you declined.” You decline anything one time; she thinks her job is done. No empathy, no consideration, and extremely rude! We should have left immediately! This house is a major health concern. I contacted VRBO; they basically just escalate it and will get back to me sometime in the near future. This house needs to be taken off the market due to health code violations! The host also filed a claim on the protection insurance we purchased. Insurance fraud as everything she claimed broken was already damaged and dirty. Save your money, don't stay here!

Long weekend with Family

I had family come in town for their son’s basketball tournament in Mansfield. I live in Fort Worth so we all rented this lovely house to save having to drive back and forth. There was plenty of room for all of us and the location to everything was perfect. We were unable to use the pool due to time and weather but hopefully if this is a yearly thing I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this house again. Owners were extremely nice and very responsive to any communication. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We all enjoyed our time here and thank them for sharing their beautiful house with us.

First, communication with the property manager was EXCELLENT! Overall impression of the property was favorable. Would definitely recommend this property if your wanting to be within a short driving distance to ATT stadium and the Ft. Worth area. Note: driveway in the online listing is nowhere near that long. (not a game changer!)

The host was rude, the door would not work half the time. Upon arrival the house was dirty, the pool was dirty, hair in the sink, wrappers underneath the bed. No help at all then wanted money for 2 service dogs which was asked about prior to stay. Tried to be reasonable but would not be reasonable.

Pictures are misleading.

Wish I could leave a better rating. The office area is an open loft area with curtains for privacy, not suitable for small children to use the twin beds in this area. On day of occupancy owner had repairs occurring in the unit. We had to remove spiders and cobwebs throughout the house. Living area has a massive crack near ceiling from house settling and owner informed us the day of occupancy of carpeting having large stains and stair treads needing to be replaced. Thought family would enjoy the pool but owners left a large cleaning machine in it that you have to remove. We didn’t want to risk damaging it so didn’t use the pool. Owner was overbearing with concerns with who was visiting-had to reassure her that only the 6 adults and two children were occupying the unit and 3 other family members were staying at local hotel. Had to obtain her permission for the family members to visit us. If you don’t mind being under surveillance and being monitored during your time in this rental, then this place may work for you. It was not the best experience for us. There is ample parking so that’s one positive comment I can leave. I do not recommend this place to anyone..

Concert get away

Came to town for a weekend getaway for a concert near by. Check in and out is very easy. Owner is very responsive to message. House is sufficient for what we needed.A/C and pool were great, would stay here again in the future.

Great location

Booked this house on my family trip to see a Rangers game, this property was a short drive to globe life stadium! We are a family of 5 and there was more than enough room for us! Nice kitchen. There was a small hiccup in the beginning, but communication with the property owner was fast and issue was taken care of! Really like this place will definitely book again’!

Everything you need for a relaxing weekend!

Christy’s home has everything you need for a great stay. The home was clean and well stocked with kitchen essentials, towels, and pool toys/floats. We had a small issue with the lock on the front door, but Christy immediately answered my call and fixed the issue. Check in and check out was easy. Would definitely stay here again!
