Summary:

Water’s Edge condominiums are located on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This gulf front property is perched high above the emerald green waters of The Gulf of Mexico. Relax on the white sandy beach and listen to the waves roll in and watch the watercolor sunsets in the evenings. Water’s Edge 102 is perfect for beachgoers with children. This ground floor unit is a short thirty second walk around the corner to the pools and beach.



The Space:

This 3 bedroom/2 bathroom condo includes: A fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals, breakfast bar, and dining area. A full-size washer and dryer. Ten-foot ceilings with glass sliders leading out to a private patio with grassy lawn. A living room with a queen size sleeper sofa for extra guests and a 65” smart flat screen TV. A master bedroom with a king size bed, a large walk-in closet, a flat screen TV, a private bathroom with a large soaking tub and walk-in shower, a separate dressing area, and glass sliders leading to the patio. A second bedroom with a queen size bed and a 19” TV/DVD player. A third bedroom with twin size bunk beds and a 19” TV/DVD player (This area is decorated with a nautical theme for children). A second full size bathroom in the hallway.

Lovely place! We decided at the last minute to visit FWB instead of our usual Destin or Pcola trip. I am thrilled that we found this place! It’s cute, clean, comfortable and right on the beach. We had 4 teens with us and the easy beach access was perfect. You are tucked away in the corner so you do not have to worry too much about other guests walking past your door. The pool is right outside and the beach is 3 minutes out the back door. Loved the chair service. You get two chairs and an umbrella set up for you daily. You do need to go down and ask for it and there is a possibility there won’t be any left so do not wait until afternoon to do this. We left several shirts behind in a closet and did not realize it until several days later. They were so kind to send them back. Most places would have claimed they never found them. 10/10 will be back!

Home away from Home

We loved our stay here. The unit was clean and up to date. The communication between us and the host was prompt and easy! They left toiletries, hand soaps and dish washer detergent. There were games to play. We meet up with out of town families at waters edge every year and this has hands down been our favorite trip yet! Having a beautiful place to stay made it that much better!

Fort Walton Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation in Fort Walton Beach! The location was perfect—just steps from the beach—and the area was peaceful and relaxing. Check-in was easy, and the property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our stay. The beach was beautiful and family-friendly, making it the ideal spot to unwind.

Just ok

The stay was good, wish there was an inside lock so the kids couldn’t open up the door. Was very disappointed in the floors kept had to clean our feet off, that is the only two things I didn’t like about the condo, well one more thing need better mattresses.

Excellent location

Stay was great! Only exception was the beds! To hard!! Bed in 2nd bdrm was squecky, small, and extremely hard. Furniture in that bdrm needs updated as drawers fell out when opened.

Birthday start

Adult daughter's birthday and the start of summer. Xlnt location so close to the sand and parking. Perfect accommodations for our party of 6 and we even had a grassy side yard. Very clean and well equipped. Would definitely choose it again.

Beautiful beach

The beach was beautiful. The chair service was great. The pool was very well maintained. The condo was great for kids. The condo slept 8 but was a bit crowded with our 6 kids. We spent most days outdoors so this wasn’t much of an issue. The condo has several TVs but we were unable to get the wifi working. Even so, I would recommend staying there. The location on the first floor was great. Easy in and out.

Kid friendly spot!

We had a great time! Easy access to the pool and beach! We had kids ages 5 and under and it was perfect walking distance. The grills were right around the corner from us too. The weather wasnt perfect but having the quick option of running from the pool to the condo was perfect! The kids room doesnt have a fan so it did get a little warm for them but only us parents noticed haha not so much the kids. Trash shoot was right down the hall which was perfect. I would highly recommend for families. We would stay again!

Amazing property

I’ll definitely be rebooking with Kimberley lang as the whole process couldn’t have been smoother. The property was exactly as described and surprisingly was well stocked with consumables such as paper towels and toilet paper unlike the one roll usually provided. My kids loved the separate bunk beds room and overall was just a wonderful experience.

We were given wrong codes two different times to access the gates to get to the pool, beach, outside restrooms. Thankfully someone working on property helped us out, but it was pretty annoying to be given the wrong information twice. Overall, our stay was good. The unit itself could use some TLC but you can’t beat the access to the beach! We loved the floor level unit with grass so the kids could play. Parking was very close and the trash chute is also close to the unit.

Family Beach Time

Just About perfection! All rooms spotless and roomy. Direct access to pool and beach more than made up for lack of direct view of the surf. Living room accommodated our family get togethers ( each family had their own condo space) but sharing evening meals in this LR was perfect. Only angst was with the total reliance on cyber ck in/out!
