"Hotel itself is quite nice. Room was nice size as was bathroom. Comfortable bed (med/firm mattress). A couple of issues: it is very much off the beaten path, not as close to Manhattan or the airport as I thought. I should have done more homework on that, and; Ubers or taxis have to drop you at curb due to gate. If you have a lot of luggage it will be a pain especially since hotel lobby is on 3rd floor. Initially a bit confusing trying to figure out where to go. Otherwise good hotel. "

"Small, traditionally appointed hotel with a great reputation as a convenient, economical alternative. They are in the process of upgrading many spaces but overall the hotel is great. Parking is tight. There is plenty of fast-food and convenience stores in the area, and access to the Cross Island Parkway is literally steps from the lobby. We stay here often and are never disappointed. Avoid the costly Nassau County hotels, as the county line is just a few minutes drive on Northern Boulevard. "
