"We had a great stay at Ten Bits Ranch. This was our home base for three days as we hiked in Big Bend. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The views from the porch and the fire pit were incredible. We enjoyed hiking to the apache cave across the street and the views from the cave were impressive. Ten Bits was very quiet. Check in and out was very easy. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we visit Big Bend. "

"Expedia advertised that check in was at 3 pm. Their check in time was 4 pm. The shower tub had a lot of red ants and all I did was turn on the water and they were all gone. The bathroom door didn’t close right. The knob to the bathroom didn’t lock. Finally, there were a lot of cobwebs on the ceiling to the side of the beds. My wife used the fly swatter to take them down. Thank god there were no spiders in those webs. Not very happy with this stay."

"The Bank had a great front porch with rocking chairs and a fabulous view of the mountains and the sunset. The bed was comfortable, but the room lacked a coffee maker, tissues, and a chair to sit in, though there was a small stool covered in towels. Someone left the last 2 sections of the toilet paper on the roll instead of changing it out for a new one, and the sink still had clumpy soap residue from previous renter. The shower also had mold in it, so I was a bit dissappointed in the amenities...

"We stayed here for two nights while visiting the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains. The unit itself was clean, the A/C worked very well, and there was plenty of hot water.There were, however, a few areas that could use some attention. The photos of the back patio are outdated. The space currently has a patio table and a plastic picnic table, but the patio table hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The umbrella was a nice touch and provided good shade, but there was an empty water...
