"I stayed in a beautiful, tastefully renovated 1 bedroom loft in the best part of Old Port with my teenage daughter. The block was lively and we had the best views of it but what was interesting was how quiet our place remained. I didn't need to rent a car as everything we could possibly need was in walking distance. There is an abundance of art and food in this area. Things are very quick to get to. Even the airport was about a 15 minute uber. I highly recommend the Docent if you are looking...

"Spacious with plenty of room for my family of four. Excellent kitchen, washer and dryer and stellar location close to Waterfront district."

"The room was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with a few minor exceptions, namely no cutting boards (small thing). The location is perfect for exploring Old Town, highly recommend. The only improvement I would request would be some small fans in the rooms as the meager HVAC couldn't really circulate the air and it got a bit stale during the night. Very minor comfort issue. We will definitely consider staying with Docent again."

"Only 4 rooms that were having A/C problems. Of course we had one the rooms. If the A/C isn’t working, why continue to reserve the rooms and not just fix the A/C??? Front desk attendant Dennecia was wonderful and was able to get us moved for our last night in Portland. She made the experience enjoyable. She did as much as she could. Just not sure why the hotel couldn’t fix the A/C in the rooms with KNOWN issues."

Our driver Saul during our trip to the airport for our departure was wonderful. Extremely friendly and a great driver. My only complaint was I called 5 days before our trip to schedule for airport shuttle pick up and was told to call when we landed due to flight being canceled or delay all the time. I...

"The hotel is well-maintained. but it is away from most of the local attractions. The room is clean and spacious. However, it is on a street at least 20 mins by walk from the old port. It is closer to the downtown about 10 min walk. There are few dining options around the hotel."

"We had a really wonderful visit at the Inn at Diamond Cove. It was a special adventure and the staff tried to work with us to help us enjoy our visit after arriving very late at night for a one night /one day stay. We knew nothing about the inn or the island's history so it was a leap of faith and well worth it."
