We've stayed at this property numerous times but I have to say that we were very disappointed this trip for several reasons.First we were very surprised that they offered family day passes now. We had just come off of a cruise full of kids and were looking forward to some peace and quiet and found the pool full of families on a day pass. We hung out by the pool until about noon and were about to go to lunch (since we couldn't check in yet) I double checked with front desk about our room before we headed to lunch and were happy to find out that our room was ready and we could check in before lunch. We threw our bags in the room and then went out for lunch. We liked the room very much. It was large, clean, had a comfy chair to relax so although the pool wasn't somewhere we could hang out with all of the children we at least appreciated a comfortable room. What wasn't comfortable as we found out later was the bed. That mattress needs changing ASAP.
Upon check out I then found out that we were charged an extra $25 for an early check in which was not mentioned at all when we checked in. If there was a fee this should have been made clear to us. The airport shuttle was also overbooked and we were had to sit on each others laps although we all had reservations at the front desk. This caused a delay with all of the confusion as well as an uncomfortable right. It's too bad because I normally give this hotel a 5 star review but not this time.
