"I booked this last minute trying to find something to do with our kids for NYE. My husband saw that Old Town Alexandria had a kid friendly event and this hotel was right in the center of it. We got there earlier than our check-in time and thankfully our room was ready, so we got settled in pretty quickly. We took the trolley back and forth from the hotel and did a lot of walking too. Visited National Harbor on a spur of the moment invite. We had so much fun! Kids ran and climbed all over the Awakening, we rode the Capital Wheel, visited the Peep Store (yes, those Peeps), and had a fantastic brunch! The Air Force Band was playing in the park. Beautiful spot! Fun for family.
