Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend Upon check-in, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist. Unfortunately, the rest of our stay was far from pleasant. Our room on the seventh floor overlooked a noisy construction site. Two TVs were not working, and checking the cables revealed piles of dust, reflecting the overall poor cleanliness. The cleaning products used were also so heavily perfumed that they made it difficult to breathe. The hotel has only two small, slow elevators, with one frequently out of service. Be prepared for long queues, and carrying luggage down seven floors was an absolute joke. The reception staff were arrogant and unhelpful with basic requests such as booking taxis and airport transfers. USB-C adapters were unavailable in the rooms but sold at ridiculously high prices in the hotel shop. Breakfast was poor, made even worse by an appalling restaurant manager who constantly waved and shouted at the staff. We would never recommend this hotel. London has plenty of better alternatives.
