"Great location in Fort, excellent facilities, friendly staff. The breakfast was not included in our reservation, and it was not worth the price. Lots of options, but uneven for a four star hotel: in a tropical country, only mediocre papaya and watermelon as fruits, and industrial juices? Margherine instead of butter? And the tech side (robots for room service) is a silly gimmick."

"Love the place. Although it is a hostel, it felt more like a hotel. Was given a large family room, with a private bathroom which was perfect for my wife and 2 kids. The location is very convenient. Walking distance to 3 major attractions in Colombo. The only drawback There are no places to eat in the area."

"I truly enjoyed my stay here. I loved the historical significance of this hotel. I rated it exceptionally well because one must understand that the hotel is over 175 years old. Sri Lanka has to recognize the importance of preserving this historical part of town. So much potential in these golden age buildings "

"I stayed CityRest Fort only 6 hours to take a shower and short nap for catching a mid-night flight. I booked a bed in Shared 4 Beds Dormitory. I checked in at the front desk and went into the room... I noticed there was nobody in the room! The man at the front desk was nothing to tell me but he arranged a sort of private room for me! I was able to relax and rest very well. Thank you so, so much for your angement. I'll definitely come back to CityRest Fort when I come to Colombo next time."

"amazing new and fresh hotel. We had twin bed room, cean, big bathroom, and room in general. Amazing view right on the LOTUS tower. We where in room 1907. Great buffet, we had it for dinner one time, lunch and breakfast. We stayed two nights. The only thing its a bit on the pricey side the other restaurants, with less food options, so we ended up on the buffet mostly where the variation and value for money clearly are the best. mall connected to it very few shops open. Would come bac."

"My friend and I had a 2 night stay of our 6 nights touring of Sri Lanka. As you walk through the doors you are escorted to the reception area. Check in was quick and you are escorted to your room where you are told of the amenities in the room. The room was clean, spacious and had sea views. We had a balcony with a seated area. Breakfast consisted of wide selection and my food allergies was catered for. I was impressed that the reception staff at the Tide restaurant knew my allergies and a chef...

"One of the greatest hotels I have ever stayed in. This place oozes quality. No wonder Prince Charles and Camilla stayed here when they paid a visit.
