"It is a great property but don’t arrive late because there is not much communication until you arrive at the property. We arrived 3pm and you pick up keys at the coffee shop that closes arround 5:30. As long you get there early you won’t have a problem. Otherwise, the property is great! Very clean and spacious. One of the nicest place we have booked. "

"Unique location ...close to Loch Ness boat tours, gas station/grocery about 2 blocks away and variety of restaurants. I recommend The Bothy for dinner. If you have anyone in your party with mobility issues....up multiple flights of stairs...you should move on. Communication was great and arrival instructions clear. Combo washer and dryer was the only negative experience we had...instructions were left but had never used one before and couldn't get the hang of it....surely my error."

"Easy parking, clean and tidy room only let down was squeaky bed when someone moved, toilet and shower block clean and plenty of hot water, shared kitchen clean with plates cups etc. for a inexpensive place to stay was very impressed. If travelling in area again would definitely use, many thanks."

"Loved the cottage Red Deer. We have stayed in the one bedroom before Brochure. Settee was a bit uncomfortable. No hairdryer although listed as having one, so had to go and buy a travel hairdryer. Disappointed that there wasn’t any hand soap provided in the bathroom Apart from that we would come back as it is very spacious. "

"Dog friendly. Oven unusable as filthy dirty. Grease +++. Cobwebs in main bedroom. Old drink can down the side of the sofa. Moved the sofa and dirty underneath. Mould on a lot of the walls. Bathroom door handle very loose. Shower height adjuster comes away from the wall if you try to use it. Hole in the main bedroom door. Outside lighting poor. Path to property very uneven. "My wife and I stayed at Burnbank Lodges for several days, to celebrate ourv25th anniversary. Campbell and Nina are welcoming, wonderful hosts. Their communication was excellent, and the property has lots of thoughtful touches. We loved the sound of the river outside and the peaceful location. If you like being off the beaten path a bit, Burnbank is a great option. Fort William is about 15 minutes away, which provides you with plenty of opportunities for a meal out. "Lovely quiet stay at the bothy, we went over with no car and stocked up with bits at Fort William! despite the loo and showers being shared this was no problem at all as they were kept clean. Lovely to have the cafe next door as well, meant we were able to get breakfast and coffee easily :)"
