사우나와 스팀룸이 있다해서 예약을 했는데 수리중 이라 직접 이용은 못해봤어요. 옛날 수도승들의 숙소였는데 무척 고풍스럽고 멋스런 빌딩안에 위치해 있었어요. 주변은 네스호와 공원으로 둘러싸여 있고 무척 아름다운곳에 위치하고 있습니다. 세탁기 까지 구비된 편리한 방입니다

Great location in the heart of Fort Augustus but also set in it's own substantial grounds making it a quiet and tranquil location. The apartment was well equipped, warm and comfortable. Access to the facilities (swimming pool, gym, tennis etc), was well organized, and all were conveniently located. Fort Augustus itself is set in a beautiful location with plenty of amenities close by. Would definitely return when the opportunity arises.

I struggled on how to review this property. In some ways the property is amazing and in other ways it could use some work. This property is very unique and set in a beautiful spot on Loch Ness. There a lot of things for kids to do on property. We loved sitting on the benches by the boat house looking out over the loch. The rooms are individually owned apartments. Our room was okay, but not the best. The furniture and area rug had stains. The toilet was difficult to operate. We were there in July and it was pretty warm. Being on the top floor with no AC was uncomfortable at times. It was nice to have a washer/dryer, refrigerator, and stove/oven in the room. Overall we would definitely stay at this property again but maybe try to get a different room.

Lejligheden er meget slidt og gammel. Møbler med løse ben, huller i gulvtæpper og en plade på toilettet som kun blev holdt oppe med tape. Det er fuld self-catering og der er ikke en restuarant tilknyttet, som billeder og beskrivelsen giver indtryk af. Fantastisk beliggenhed, hvilket trækker meget op. Gode aktiviteter for børn.

Overall, the property itself is lovely and offers good amenities, but several aspects of our stay fell short, especially considering the price point. Cleanliness was a noticeable issue upon arrival: the floors had clearly not been properly hoovered or mopped and were quite dusty, and we found dirty dishes put away in the cupboards. The sleeping arrangements were also disappointing. The sofa bed in our flat was broken and unusable. Furthermore, it wasn't made clear beforehand that guests must request to use the sofa bed in advance, so no bedding was provided for it. A word of advice to future guests: bring extra towels and bedding just in case, as any additional linens come with an extra charge. Customer service felt rather hands-off. Staff simply pointed us toward the information binder in the flat rather than offering direct, helpful assistance for some of the key details, such as where to drop of garbage on the day of departure. Given the rates charged, the overall value for money wasn't quite there. With better attention to housekeeping, functional furniture, and more proactive guest communication, it could be a great stay, but it certainly could do with improvement.

Check in process needs work. Called 2 numbers before finding someone to help who did not work for the apartment company. Then had to wait 15 mins for a lady to arrive. Not what you want after a long flight/drive.

Perfekt beliggenhet til utflukter og ikkje minst veldig flott bygg det ligger i👌 Fort Augustus er en nydelig liten landsby, kun 3 minutter unna å gå. Badet kunne nok fått seg en oppgradering, men dette er et rimelig og flott bosted

Ich war zum zweiten Mal im Highland Club und ich werde ganz sicher wiederkommen. Die komplette Anlage ist einfach wunderschön und ideal zum erholen.

Fort Augustus - The Highland Club - Glenwood

Super location right next to the Caledonian canal and Loch Ness. Friendly greeting and easy check in check out. On site facilities too many to name! Would return again - no question.

The apartment was lovely with a great view onto the cricket pitch. The furnishings were smart and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was ideal for 3 - I think it would have been a bit cosy for 4. The facilities were great and we used the pool and tennis court whilst we were there. Great location and certainly had the wow factor. The windows were not easy to open and close but that was all.

Great stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Glenwood Apartment. The Highland Club is a very unique property in a beautiful location. The process of getting into the apartment was simple and Paul (from Aonach Mor, the property management company) was great. He greeted us and provided us a tour of the facilities. The checkout was simple: drop the keys in a box. So, here are a couple of notes for your awareness: 1) The Glenwood Apartment is in the "Raven Wing" which is a newer building that is NOT part of the original fortress/abbey. It is a small, modern apartment building. Nothing wrong with this but if you want to stay in a room that is part of the historical buildings, this is not it. 2) The room is best suited for two adults and, maybe, two small children (10 yrs or under). Our college-age daughters stayed with us and the pull-out sofa in the living room/kitchen leaves a lot to be desired in terms of size and comfort. The "king-size" bed in the bedroom is comfortable but it is not a US-size "king." It is more like a queen-size bed at best. 3) The kitchen was well equipped and in great condition. Londis (a small market/gas station) is a 5-minute walk and has everything you might need for a stay, including eggs, milk, bread, etc. Just be aware that U.S.-issued credit cards will not work at the gas pumps here. They work fine in the store but the only option for gas is pay-at-the-pump. So, if you need fuel, a store employee must use their card so you can pump gas.
