"The dirtiest home I’ve ever been in. Even ceiling mold approximately 18” in diameter in one of the bedroom closets. Master toilet didn’t work, washer and dryer filled with wet towels, some bathrooms didn’t have towels, bed linen was dirty, coffee drip machine and toaster are the only kitchen appliances. There is a microwave but I had to clean it before we could use it bc there was splattered red sauce in it, dining room chair fabric is shredding, one bar stool is broken, couple of the showers...

"We came in for a family wedding and it was the same price to stay here as two nights in hotel. But man we lucked out. I really don’t think the pictures do it justice- it’s a beautiful peaceful location and the house is so perfect and has all these great thoughtful touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the hot tub area is gorgeous and private. If we come in to see family we will always be checking here first. You can’t ask for anything better! "

"Our 2nd visit and this has now become our emotional and spiritual escape from Dallas. Small space but extremely comfortable and so very cleverly built-like a live role in The Hobbit; coffee, wine and muffins provided. Hanging out with chickens and roosters, sweet-as-can-be dogs; a horse. And adjacent to a refuge with lions/tigers/wolves/bears/hyenas.Lots of noises overnight-big cats roaring; owls; song birds; roosters crowing in the morning-what a lovely escape-puts our feet on the ground....
