"This was our 4th time at Firefly Cottage and we love it still as much as our first visit. We didn't get to fish this time due to the wind, but that didn't stop our fun with games, lake and socializing. The sunsets are stunning and beautiful to take pictures during that time. Would definitely recommend this cottage and I'm sure we'll be back again. "

The pool was a big hit with everyone, and having the kayaks available added an extra layer of fun and adventure. The amenities were spot on—everything we needed was right there, which made our stay so easy and relaxing. The location was ideal, close to everything yet peaceful and private. We would definitely love to return. Highly recommend!"

"Comfy house, awesome waterfront location, fully equipped. King bed was so comfortable. Wife and I stayed the nights and we had family visit for Lake day/Sunday. We rented a boat and also enjoyed floating in tubes off the dock. Owner was spot-on responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back !!"

"Nice property, great lake access. Only have a couple minor suggestions for owner. Wash clothes in the bathroom would be appreciated and 4:00 pm check in /10:00 am check out needs to be at least 3:00 pm/11:00 am. Would recommend this property."

"We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cute and clean. The animals are fun to see. It's just a very short walk down to the riverwalk which is great! The only negative I have is there wasn't much light in the bathroom. Hard to see anything in the mirror but there is a vanity in the bedroom with a light. Breakfast in the barn was so cool!! We would stay again. "

"We had my husband’s 50th surprised birthday party there! We had no idea that there was a home for renting in Lakeside. When we go out fishing or just for sport, we have mostly used the Steal Creek Park boat ramp. The only road into and out of the park, is the same road that this beautiful property is located. We had a great and wonderful time!"

"Great family get together! Plenty of sleeping spaces with everyone having their own bathroom! Kids hunted for snails. Plenty of seating to visit , inside & outside. Nice campfire at night. Felt like you were secluded but close to a store if needed. Easy check in & out! Would book again!! "

"Our family went for a Father’s Day weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our cabin and the Brazos House Retreat property. We had such an enjoyable visit that we decided to make this an annual event. The view is stunning, that swings were fantastic, and we made good use of the fire pit and the wood provided. "

"The management was very responsive and helpful. The home was comfortable and in a beautiful spot. It was so peaceful to sit in the back and just watch the water. We will be back."
