Lovely hotel, friendly staff, big rooms, great pool!

The staff of the hotel are wonderful and helpful. Disappointed in the hotel restaurant As staff never smile or say hello also the evening menu we had was a disappointment too. The breakfast in the hotel is fabulous and the rooms spotless as is the hotel. Pool is great with plenty of shade under the trees. We have returned to this hotel many many times and hope to do so again. Thank you to the reception staff for the friendly welcome.

Not upfront with information upon booking. You don’t find out important details until you check in a few days beforehand or when you arrive. No air conditioning. No front desk and no way to store luggage if arriving early. No option for early check in. Being there is no desk, if you need anything else they can’t help you. Room was on the 3rd floor. No elevator. Stairs are steep, narrow and winding. Very hard to get up with luggage. We purchased European outlet adaptors but needed an outlet adaptor for the outlet adaptor. We ended up having to purchase extra because their outlets were not useful. Most of the outlets in the place did not work. Only one towel and hand towel per person the entire stay. No wash clothes. The washer in the building is broken and can’t be used. One shower flooded the bathroom but again there is no front desk so one to help us. Again, not enough towels to use for ourselves and clean up so that was a problem. When we called with questions to the host, they thought we were in Italy (we were in Spain) and were giving us incorrect infrowmriij about the building we were in because they had no idea where we even were despite giving booking information. Had I of known all of this from the listing I never would have chosen this lodging but unfortunately you find all of this out when it is too late.
