"The property served our needs for a one night stay in Caroga Lake. Finding the place was a bit of a nightmare. We had no wireless service in the area and the host did not provide very good directions. As we had no cell phone service, we could not call the host. We ended up going to the pist office and we were fortunate that a gentleman who was picking up his mail helped direct us to the unit otherwise we would have never found it. "So glad we found this place. Clean, conveniently located, comfortable and pet friendly. Have Family in Amsterdam and each time we visit we had to choose between the overpriced chain hotel or the ones that look like they rent rooms by the hour. Will definitely stay here again."

"Cons:When we first walked in to the rental the first thing we smelled was the stench of cigarette smoke!!! We bought fragrance spray but didn't work. There were two in window air conditioners that were not sealed. Because of that the rental was infested with mosquitos and other little flying bugs that were attracted to the inside lights and us!
