Over all had a nice stay. The location was great- walking distance to beach and restaurants. House was nice however the air conditioner could not go below 70 per rules and that made it uncomfortable for sleeping. The house was noisey from construction and the bar across the street. While it was pet friendly there was no grass for animals to use in the front nor backyard.My biggest complaint is that the parking spot in front of the house was taken one day when we came back from being out. My car doors are too large for the under house parking for me to access my carseat for my 8 week old daughter. I had park, get my daughter out take her upstairs, then leave her to go move my car to keep it from being hit. I reached out 2 times to the host for assistance and only received an apology and nothing in way of resolution. For the price being charged there should have been more action taken.

This house is perfect!! Very well done on decor and comfort. Anything you need for kitchenware, supplies, towels etc it’s all there. Beds super comfortable and ac worked great! Absolutely loved it!! And did I mention everything was super clean which is really important to me!!

Excellent location. Perfect for a group.

The location in unbeatable! Every time we pulled up a restaurant to go to, the walk was under 500 feet. Plus a very easy two block walk to the beach which takes you right out to the pier. The house is exactly as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked, there were plenty of towels, the beds and couch were comfortable, and each bedroom included an extra fan and white noise machine. The pool was an added bonus! Our group of 6 adults and an infant loved this rental and would highly recommend.

Great space for 3 couples. Nice patio with small pool. Can walk to restaurants and beach. A bit noisy on north side of the house with bar right across the street. Need to improve their housekeeping just a little, but not terrible.

Perfect Spring Break

This was our first time to Folly Beach. The property was perfect for our party of eight adults and teens. We loved the pool and the location of the house was convenient to restaurants and to the beach. Would highly recommend!

Highly Recommend!

Couldn’t ask for a better location and setup for our group. We walked everywhere, bars, restaurants, shops, and the beach. When we wanted to relax or knock out some work there was more than enough room for 7 adults and our small dog. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We also really enjoyed the patio and plunge pool out back, more than we thought we would honestly. Overall, it was perfect and we hope to be back soon.

We loved the pool and the kitchen

We really enjoyed our stay at Slightly Off Center- Surf. The plunge pool was really refreshing after a day at the beach, and our baby loved splashing in it. It was the perfect temperature for her, not too hot or too cold. The pool area is very private and fenced in all the way around. We never saw our neighbors while we were in the pool, but we could hear them. Just a head's up - there are a few steps in the patio area that could be tricky for toddlers. Beach towels were provided, and it was nice not to have to pack bulky towels in our luggage. The huge kitchen island and open kitchen were really great. Usually on vacations, our groceries take up all the counter space and we're stepping on each other in the kitchen, but we had plenty of space here. I would bring extra supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, trash bags) especially if you have 8 people staying here. We were given about 2 of everything to start us off. I also brought my own dishwashing soap and a sponge and was glad I did as none was provided. There are 2 parking spots under the house and enough room for a golf cart. There's some street parking right in front of the house if you are lucky enough to get it. At this particular unit, there was a utility pole right behind the parking area so it was a bit tricky to back out. We were given a couple of different ways to contact management during our stay, and they were always quick to respond even on the weekends. I always worry about booking properties like this because you never know how responsive they will be, but they were really on top of it. This location was a little noisy for us, we prefer a more quiet relaxing vacation. But if you plan on going out to dinner every evening, getting coffee in the morning, or shopping, this location is perfect for you. It's pretty difficult to park on Center Street so it was really convenient to be able to walk everywhere. But it does stay pretty noisy all hours of the day because it's right in the center of all the action. I'd book it again just for the pool.

The house is exactly as pictured, very new with nice decor. We really enjoyed the backyard area which is very private and serene with a small pool. Our only complaint is that it was noisy at night because the house is only 1 block off Center St. It appears the bars don't adhere to the 10pm noise ordinance.

Location was PERFECT!

We had an amazing stay for my birthday and bachelorette party! 8 of us stayed very comfortably! The beds were so comfortable and the outside area with the pool was gorgeous. The property was BEAUTIFUL and the location was perfect. It was an easy 20-25 min cab ride to downtown Charleston, where we went about 3 times during our stay. The property is also perfect location in Folly Beach. The restaurants and bars are right around the corner and only 2 blocks from the beach! We were easily able to walk everywhere! My only recommendation would be to have more supplies. It was a bit of a bummer to stay in such a luxiourious place and have to run to the store to buy our own hand soap because the dispensers in 2 bathrooms were empty. We had contacted the property managers, but they did not replace this for us. We also wouldn't mind stocking our own toilet paper (if we were originally given full rolls) but the rolls we were given were half used and we were left to stock with our own, same with the paper towel. It would've been really nice to have a few extra given to us, since they were not full. Other than that, the stay was perfect. The little gift bag with goodies inside upon our arrival was such a beautiful touch too! Thanks for an amazing stay!

Great location / great home / some concerns

We were in town for our sons wedding and this location and house worked out perfectly for our family. We were concerned prior to arriving due to the recent hurricane that had just passed slightly offshore but however some of the maintenance issues was not due to this. We noticed an odd odor, discolored areas in the ceiling over the living/dining area. This looked like due to leaks somewhere. Also the vent in the downstairs bathroom had a black ring around the a/c vent. The pool was a great amenity but the foliage was so overgrown and the pool heavily over chlorinated it discolored my sons bathing suit. I called shortly after arrival reference to both a/c thermostats flashing for battery replacement as we all know that when they die, thermostat will not work and I did not get a response back. A manager did stop by the day before we had to leave and we did address these issues and with the servicing pool company. Overall the house worked out great but please, for such a wonderful spot and house, it needs a little bit more tender loving care and management to be more alert on reporting maintenance issues like the living room area rug needs cleaning or replaced due to several large noticeable stains and the master suite inner doorway noticeable dirt stains where it looks like a dog might have been kept up. Overall, beds were comfortable, house decor nicely done, well equipped, fantastic location and we had a great time!!

Girls get-a-way

Property was as described and fabulous. Suggestions would be to provide box Kleenex, more than 1 ply TP, soap and body wash dispensers in all bathrooms, along with lotion. Small samples did not last long with 6 of us. Master bedroom sheets were too small for mattress and pillow top-slipped off immediately. Other than that, we were pleased.

Very nice home

This house was great for our family of 6. We spent a lot of time doing things in Downtown Charleston and it was an easy 15 min ride. The older sons were able to Uber back & forth very easily. We enjoyed the pool area and the easy walk to the pier from the house. We had never stayed in Folly Beach area before. It’s a mix of old & new. This home & the 3 around it all share private backyard spaces that are separated by fencing for privacy. Besides only having the 1 tv in the living room there wasn’t anything I would say negative. The host was always available if he had a question or needed assistance.
