  • One of Folly's Best! Oceanfront Nest Down is a new downstairs duplex unit that sits oceanfront and accommodates up to 6 people. In total there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms have king beds, one has a queen and all have Smart TVs for your enjoyment. The kitchen boasts all stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops. The open layout and modern stylish furniture can only be beat by the views! Follow the double doors out to your own private deck which leads to your access to the sand. There is plenty of area to lay out and sun or cook out with the family. The entry point to the path to the Morris Island Lighthouse is less than a block away and would take just about 10 minutes on foot. Off street parking is provided and can accommodate up to 2 vehicles for this unit. Oceanfront Nest Down allows up to 3 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dogs with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dogs when you inquire. All photos are current and accurately depict the property. Please book with confidence. This property is licensed by the city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - Business License Number: LIC008875. Because of the potential of fraud we would not recommend booking a property not licensed by the city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental.

The property location to the beach without stairs was perfect for our needs. The master bedroom suite was also very nice. Super clean. Could have benefited from another chair I think with as many people as we had for the rooms.

Beach Getaway

This was the perfect place for our family to act like absolute beach bums. It was private, quiet, and there was nothing better than opening the back door and putting your feet in the sand. We'll be coming back again.

Great getaway

We absolutely loved this property! Right on the beach, wonderful deck with lots of seating, great amount of space inside. Beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. It was less than 10 minutes to the downtown area and had private beach access. We will absolutely be back!

Beachfront was extraordinary so would consider again. Interior was a little damp with mold visible in spots. Otherwise very clean.

Colorado Family Seeks Beach Vacation

So much fun! Property was more than perfect with walk-out directly to the beach! We made breakfast every morning, as some family slept in and others hit the beach at dawn-so no one was rushing to get gone to breakfast. Rental had all the necessary tools to make it, just add food! Close enough to many fun day trip places....lots of good food and drinks in the evenings!

Excellent location

The property is located on the beach - steps to the waves. Can’t beat this location. The beach was clean and not very crowded. The unit was well stocked with everything we might need. We enjoyed our stay Only cons were the roaches - maybe a hot humid climate issue but I would strongly recommend a pest control service ASAP

Great Location

The location cannot be beat! The basement unit was cozy. The large deck underneath was a great reprieve from the sun and offered a place to store beach gear. The neighbors upstairs were not loud. Overall it was a good experience.

Unit smelled terrible...moldy and musty. There was a giant air purifier in the corner of the dining area with unfinished drywall tacked up. There was exposed duct work in kitchen. There was a vent that leaked in master bedroom. We had to live with a bucket above the vent all week.

a little beach getaway

Perfect, quiet part of the island, with view of the beach even from the first floor -- great porch area, we practically lived out there the whole time. Some basic maintenance could be done on door handles and sliding screens. Didn't realize smart TV meant you had to input your own subscription services, so be sure to bring your own passwords. Thanks for a lovely place to stay!

Amazing view and everything you need

Most of our time in Folly Beach it was raining, so we had to change plans a few times, and we probably stayed indoors more than most might at the beach. The accommodations were just what we expected: comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, clean bathrooms, and a nice patio/deck right outside the living room with a great view of the ocean. Off-street parking was a plus. My only quibble is that there could be a little more seating in the living room, but we found extra chairs in the primary bedroom. The house is near the old lighthouse and the hike there was easy once we got some sunshine. Visitors should check out the driftwood near the lighthouse. There are plenty of places to eat in and near Folly Beach, and we appreciated the recommendations in the guest book.
