"Had a great room at front on top floor with great sea view. Room and hotel were clean. Did not have breakfast. Possibly understaffed. One night we got back at 9:30 and bar was closed. Lift was out Ok for us but was a problem for some other guests. Would probably use again . Hard to choose between this and the nearby voco."

"Nothing Grand about this hotel,arrived after a long journey from France,no parking available on-site had to park on site road which ment we had get up early next day to move the car by 9.We were also told we'd have to pay £5 if we wanted to park at the hotel.I was'nt aware there was a charge.We booked a double room but was given room 510 which was a family room.The window handle was broken so it did'nt shut,the window vent would'nt stay closed and it was blowing a gale outside so the room was...

"Hotel is not fit to house a dog. Blood and semen on the bed, bed made out of wood, exposed electrics, shower door that doesn’t close. Half the building had pigeons flying around inside which we seen as we pulled up. All was reported to reception and asked for a refund, which was refused. We left and booked another hotel! After 2 hours of phone calls to hotels.com they agreed to refund for our booking. "

"Free parking which is so handy. The room was much better than expected and was clean and comfortable. I think we lucked out on the room we got. Decent for cheap I didn’t really see any staff other than one man who wouldn’t let us in the building after we had returned. We had to get our friend who had already to come home to let us in and then he made us stay so he can check the room was booked for 3 - despite me saying it was booked for 3.
