  • Villa Ballodole si trova in un complesso di ville sulla collina di Careggi con una preziosa vista panoramica su Firenze.
    Buid in anni sessanta la villa è composta di circa 470 mq in totale, su una superficie di circa 2000 mq.
    Al piano terra è composto da un ampio soggiorno (con camino) con vista sulla piscina, sala da pranzo, cucina (con forno a microonde, lavatrice, americano macchina del caffè), 1 camera doppia con due letti singoli, 1 bagno con doccia, 1 studio e 1 bagno di servizio.
    Il primo piano è composto da 3 camere matrimoniali (una camera da letto dispone di un letto matrimoniale e bagno en-suite con doccia), 2 bagni e grande terrazza (circa 120 mq) con divani, con vista di Firenze monumenti storici.
    Anche nel seminterrato c'è una sala con videogiochi e un tavolo per giocare a carte.

    Alta qualità woden pavimento nelle camere da letto, cotto nel soggiorno e di alta qualità piastrelle colorate nei bagni.
    Tutte le camere sono dotate di aria condizionata.
    La connessione Wi-Fi gratuita.

    Il giardino è di 2000 mq con piscina circondata da ulivi, parcheggio zona e un garage.
    Particolare attenzione è stata dedicata al giardino e alla piattaforma panoramica: dotate di ogni comfort, questa zona è ideale per la vita all'aperto; l'arredamento moderno comprende tavolo per 8 persone, sedie, lettini, divani, barbecue e tavolo da ping pong.

This fellow is absolutely perfect for our family. He had 4 adults and two teenagers and his face was absolutely perfect. Fuse the fuse are absolutely breathtaking. The Villa is very spacious and clean. Communication with the host was spot on. The check-in process was perfectly described. However, Google maps and Waze had a little issue locating the house. Leonard was the perfect and I appreciate his efficiency. If you have a large group, please consider this Villa. You won't be disappointed. Disappointed. It has some of the modern amenities along with the original Italian chore. So glad we were able to share this property.!

Great view of Florence (from the balcony, hedge needed trimming!) pool is great but inside is tired.

The check in process was long winded. We felt rushed to be there to meet the cleaner at a specific time but had been delayed in Rome getting the hire car and had had a 3.5 hour drive. A key safe would have been good. There were 3 security gates to get through though which I wasn’t aware of. Although we felt safe it was tedious. The villa is huge and generally comfortable. The lounge seating wasn’t relaxing and the dining chairs were plastic and wobbly. The bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage and the beds and linens were wonderful. The only bath though had a plumbing problem so we couldn’t use it all week. I tried to use the plunger but that made things mucky. The pool and patio around it are perfect. Plenty of chairs and loungers too and pool towels provided. The patio outside the house though is crumbling away and very uncomfortable with bare feet. We all enjoyed the ping pong but unfortunately the grass on the lawn was a foot long so the children couldn’t play badminton with the provided net or football. The air con was needed as the weather was fantastic! The kitchen had everything we needed but it was the most neglected part of the house. It was very tired, broken drawer with resident dead moth, dirty inside cupboards and the slowest toaster ever! The house was plenty big enough for the 5 of us but on closer inspection it was disappointing,

Incroyable !

The villa was fabulous for our extended family of 8. The views are unmatched. The pool was a great respite from the summer heat. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to be on the fringe of Florence. It was also a central location for us to visit chianti - bologna and take the train to venice for the day.

Beautiful position, but in need of an update.

This is a very large, secure villa, with amazing views, a lovely garden and pool. However, the general condition requires attention and the villa is in need of an update and TLC. The kitchen has plenty of crockery, but is poorly equipped in other areas, with few utensils, and no plastic glasses or crockery which can be safely used outside. The holiday was enjoyable, however, I would not return as I have stayed in far better self catering accommodation in other locations, and for less money. I certainly would not describe it as luxurious and modern, more basic and in need of upgrade!

Totally Dolce Vita

French family with 2 kids, we stayed 3 weeks in this fantastic house. The place and the view are fantastic, very clean, very quiet. The pool was very perfect for our family. A great thank you to Leonardo who took care of us during these 3 weeks. It was difficult for us to leave the place after 3 weeks.

Great villa. Magnificent view. Nice pool.

Most of the things were as we would expect it to be. We had some little things, but they were fixed promptly. When we visited the city (Firenze, Florence) we drove to Firenze Castello train station. A single drive to Firenze SMN (Central Station) is € 1,50 per person (a train every half our, see trenitalia.com). A lot of free car park space at Firenze Castello. When renting this villa, you have to take in account that it will take you 15-30 minutes to get into the centre of Firenze.

Amazing views and 15 min from Florence!

Our most favorite things about this house were the views and how close it is to Florence. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. The house is large and comfortable. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine and some water. Also we had coffee packets for the coffee machine. That was very nice. Downstairs, the kids found a Wii with games, and I found the washing machine and iron which was very helpful. We also were able to access Netflix on the TV, so we had a couple of good movie nights. The house itself is large, a bit dated, but certainly has everything you need to be comfortable. We did have a bit of an issue with ants in the kitchen and mosquitoes at night. We made sure that we took out the garbage every day which seemed help with the ants. Overall, we would definitely stay at this house again. Our best memories of this house will include coffee on the patio in the morning looking at Florence, and ending our day with a nice glass of wine at sunset with the view. Thank you!

Incredible Stay

This property is incredible. The views over Florence are beautiful at all hours of the day, but we especially loved hearing the church chimes in the morning. The beds are comfortable, the house is spacious. The property is secluded and peaceful, yet it is only 15 minutes up the hill from Florence. Fiesole is about 15 minutes away and not to be missed. The pool was perfect on the near-100 degree days. We hated to leave!

Fantastic Villa with breathtaking view of all of Florence!

Villa Ballodole is exactly as described and better! We arrived to an immaculately clean Villa and we had been greeted by Leonardo. It has all the facilities you need (BBQ, ping pong table, pool, nice back garden) and is just as stunning as the photos from the website. The pool was great and crystal clear, the rooms are very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Villa is in secure, quiet development with three gates! I would recommend this Villa to anyone and would go back again. A great place to have family time away. We had a fantastic two week stay and would like to thank Leonardo for a wonderful time and for sorting out various things for us including first shopping, cleaning, recommendations for restaurants. He was a fantastic, very helpful host a phone call away 24/7. Thank you!

Wonderful Vacation!

If you are lucky enough to have found this villa, book it now! We just had a wonderful week at Villa Ballodole and are missing it rather painfully. Leonardo is an extremely attentive host. The house is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you need (wifi, hair dryers, laundry, plenty of hot water,swimming pool). The beds are very comfortable. And the views! We had to make sure to be home every night at sunset to take photos. Imagine waking up to the sight of the Duomo out your bedroom window. And it is so easy to get to Florence by car... We are already dreaming about coming back.
