  • Elegant and comfortable apartment close to the city centre just outside the ztl area, therefore, hassle free if you have a car. We are at a 15 minute walking distance from city centre and 25 minutes walking distance from Duomo, Uffizzi Gallery, Piazza Signoria, Statue of David, Ponte Vecchio and great shopping too. You can take the tram if you prefer which takes only 3 minutes! It is a pleasant walk with pastry shops and cafes along the way. The apartment is spacious, airy and bright. There is a baker, butcher, laundromat, wine-shop, grocery store close by. Very convenient and ideal location far from the noise but at walking distance from all attractions. The beautiful Villa Fabbricotti, Stibbert Park and Museum is right behind us and at walking distance to Giardino del'Orticoltura with its beautiful conservatory.
    Our apartment has been recently refurbished. We used high quality fixtures through out. It is elegant and comfortable with up-to-date amenities. Brand new designer bathrooms with new fixtures. The spacious double living room has a large sofa bed and can be closed with sliding doors. This offers complete privacy and is used as the 3rd bedroom. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom. The other bathroom is in the hallway.
    The apartment has 2 balconies and has a spacious feeling. Unlimited wifi access, air conditioning and linen are all included. There are NO hidden costs. It is on the second floor WITH elevator. The size is 115 square meters. PLEASE NOTE: THE SINGLE PULLOUT BED THAT GOES IN THE BEDROOM IS UPON REQUEST. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED IT.

Really enjoyed our stay here! Communication was excellent with Richard. It is about a 30 minute walk to the Duomo and also to the train station. Very clean with all amenities. It is also by a grocery store and coffee shop which was great! Thank you Rita! Your place was perfect for us!

Nice property outside of city center.

Very clean property spacious and comfortable perfect for our large group. Close by to a grocery store and corner market where you can get drinks, coffee, and snacks. Right up the street from a fresh produce stand and outdoor vendors market. Very near to a wonderful local restaurant Fratelli briganti.

Location was perfect. Place was well decorated. Tram station was just a short walk away. Bar/coffee and Pastries was a 10 yard walk from the front door. Grocery store was 100 yards around the corner fro the place. Easy 20 minute walk to downtown if you don't want to take the tram.

Great place in Florence!

We LOVED Rita’s property. She truly thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and functional. Fully functioning kitchen, great living space and spacious bedrooms. The neighborhood was great and lots of good spots within walking distance. Would highly recommend for any group needing a place in Italy!

Gorgeous home close to metro

Enjoyed our stay in this home - very spacious and comfortable. Everything was as described in the listing. Great communication from host & smooth, easy check-in. Everything we needed was here. Also, short walk to metro for quick travel into the heart of Florence.

Lovely stay in Firenze

Wonderfully spacious and appointed apartment. The location allowed both easy access and tranquil respite from the city center.Rita was incredibly responsive with all our communication and needs. Wonderful apartment minutes from Florence city-centre

Rita was a wonderful host so responsive & accomodating. The apartment was very clean and comfortable & just a 10 minute walk & 10 minute tram ride to the city centre of Florence. We loved that it was away from the hustle & bustle of downtown & felt very safe. A little fruit , veggie & clothing market is held daily nearby & grocery store around the corner. The beds are super comfortable. A fantastic choice if visiting Florence. My sister & I loved this place.

Beautiful, roomy apartment with large beds!

Our adult family of 5 had a comfortable stay here. Good location if you like a light walk with the Duomo and museums about a mile away. Apartment was VERY clean, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen with all we needed to cook an authentic Italian meal. Rita answered all questions quickly so no complaints about anything. Would stay here again!!

Communication from Rita excellent and kept us informed about everything you’d need. In a lovely quiet area, nice to get away from the crowds. A 20min walk into the centre. A local supermarket just round the corner and plenty of places to get coffee. All I n all a lovely few days

A beautiful stay in Florence

We were so excited to find this location in Florence. The property is outstanding. It's in a nice quiet area with a grocery store less than 1 minute from leaving the apartment. Easy access to transit but honestly only 20 minutes walking and you're downtown. Both Rita and Richard were quick to respond to any questions that we had and their recommendations for restaurants did not disappoint. We know where will be staying when we return to Florence. Grazie for a beautiful stay.

Nice Apartment

This was a nice apartment for our stay in Florence. Rita and Richard were both excellent at staying in touch and ensuring we had everything we needed. The apartment was spacious although the bathrooms were quite small, especially the master bath. The neighborhood was quiet with a few essentials close by including a grocery, bar, pastries, etc. There were not many other restaurants without walking 10 minutes or so. Richard was exceptionally helpful with arranging for taxis each day. He also had a couple of excellent restaurant suggestions which we used and greatly enjoyed. Although the neighborhood seemed quiet and safe, my husband especially appreciated the robust locks on the apartment door.

Perfecto! Perfecto! Perfecto!

Rita's place was perfect for my family of 6. We received such a warm welcome and the perfect amount of communication throughout our stay. The host was very responsive to all of our needs and we found the place to be ideally located...just on the outskirts. We walked everywhere with no problems. Our group consists of 3 college students, 1 middle schooler, and my wife and I. The grocery store is right around the corner which served us well. Would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Florence.

Took us a few days to acclimate and get to know our way around. This property is off the beaten path and a quiet neighborhood. As we were 4 seniors we found it a little bit far to get downtown so took a lot of taxis! The property itself is lovely and Rita and Richard were excellent hosts!! They helped us with trains and trams and called cabs for us! Very accommodating!!

5 Days in Florence

The four of us enjoyed our stay. Location was not far from the tram to get you to the city center. There was a grocery store and small café just around the corner that we found very convenient. The apartment was well appointed and very clean and comfortable. Richard who I believe is a cohost was incredibly helpful in every way you can imagine. Any time we had questions or even needed help finding a doctor he was on it and offered his assistance at any time. This was crucial on this trip, because two of us became ill during our stay.

Definite Italian Living

Our host, Rita, was exceptional. From the time our reservation was made until our stay was over, Rita was invaluable in making sure our stay an immersion into Italian life. She not only recommended local restaurants but went further to make reservations. SheRita was always available by phone when we had questions. The tram into central Florence is a comfortable 4-5 block walk and takes 10 minutes to get into the city. We plan to return to her.
