"Absolutely amazing. Such a stunning place, with great food and wonderful service. Stayed one night in one of the beautiful cottages. Had the best dessert I’ve ever had in their fine dining restaurant, and one of the best omelettes during breakfast. Will be back, and stay longer next time. "

"Yes, the room was very tidy, warm and comfortable, the staff were great, parking was easy, we never had breakfast we normally just have coffee first thing, dinner in the small dining room was good with good service, we have been there before, overall, everything on the doorstep, nice garden area and nice views of river and surroundings. "Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

"Ideally situated close to the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed. Excellent value for money. Compact room with small double bed, comfortable enough but a bit creaky. TV, Kettle and fridge in room aswell as a hairdryer. A few minor issues that could be improved upon are; TV is ok if you are connecting somwthing to it but the signal for the digital channels is terrible. There is no mirror next to plug sockets for styling hair etc. There are only 3 parking spaces and when we were there the first night,...
