"The hotel is beautiful, in an old mansion that was once inhabited by writer Gustave Flaubert. The rooms were nicely sized, and room amenities (water, coffee, etc) were replenished everyday of need be. Staff were So friendly and helpful. Our only constructive criticism is that the WiFi was not very strong: it was in and out. However everything else was wonderful! "

"Literally just back from a 2 night stay here and stayed in a family duplex since was for 4 adults which are on a separate block to the main house. Was a very nice stay overall, big spacious room with an additional upstairs double bed and bathroom, although just the one toilet for both floors. Lovely quiet grounds to sit in, fairly easy 20 minute walk into the middle of Bayeux and breakfast plentiful buffet style thing. "It was a wonderful stay in a French chateau in the countryside. We rented a car so there was no issue with transportation but I’m not sure how you would get around if you didn’t have one. Our room was on the top floor but they helped carry the suitcases up as there was no elevator. "Very unique hotel! We got to stay in the "stables!" It was beautiful converted into a nice room for 3 with a kitchenette and it was very clean.
