"It was a beautiful view & sunrises worth getting up for. It is quiet & peaceful place. Did not realize I was sharing washer & dryer with people downstairs. Both doors unlocked and person knocked briefly once and walked through the door without allowing me to answer. He said he had a key and was allowed to use washer/dryer. Would of been nice to know. But after that no issues. No screens in living room and patio door not able to open. Missed that fresh air coming in as that would of been all part...

"This was a perfect location for me to spend time with my son who attends MUN. The trails nearby provided beautiful views and a nice way to get to Signal Hill. We could make meals together in the well-equipped kitchen and each had comfortable bedrooms. Thanks to Todd for providing such a comfortable home base!"

"This is the cutest little property. Very cozy and inviting. It was nice to be out of downtown St.John’s but still within walking distance. Quidi Vidi is a perfect little community. All the amenities we needed were in the room. They even had ground coffee for us ready to go, however I thought it to be unsanitary to have the little scoop left in the container. Not sure when the last time that was washed. My only real complaint was the sub par cleanliness. I ended up buying a pack of Lysol wipes...

"The location of the site was close enough (15 minutes) to downtown and amenities by car. Inside the property was clean, and modern but was unfinished and unpolished. We could make do with the cooking supplies (ie crepe pan or a pot for cooking eggs). Curb appeal could also use some cleaning up. Weeds coming up through the front steps and broken patio furniture first greets you. There were no toiletries or hair dryer but communication with the owner was good that he ran it over."

"Room wasn't properly cleaned and made ready. Issue was resolved easily enough. It would be a nice stay in the summer but it's not easily accessible and if there are people above it can be loud. Also, the thermostat settings for a basement apartment in Newfoundland in February need to be changed. You wake frozen"

"Great hotel like experience. The rooms were a bit dark as there is limited lighting. It was quirky that you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the elevators up to the rooms, but the restaurant staff were so friendly. We would stay here again."

"The room was absolutely stunning—modern, spotless, and very well maintained. I especially loved the bathroom with its large soaker tub, spacious walk-in shower, and bidet.
