"Due to a change in plans we did not end up staying at the property but did pop inside. It was very clean and seemed to have everything you could need. The host was very prompt at returning messages and was very easy to work with. I would have no issue booking again and actually staying !"

"2 night stay for a wedding. Interior is fully renovated and clean. Great communication from the host. This is an old motel, so the rooms are small. Not the most comfortable bed, but that's my only quibble. Quiet. Great breakfast place just down the road."

"This cabin was very cute and cozy. It was equipped with a fully functional kitchen including dishes, cookware, and appliances such as a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and air fryer. We even had a fire and made s’mores. We enjoyed watching TV in the evenings after spending the day in town and at the local parks and trails. Our dog enjoyed all the sights and smells and we were all very comfortable in the bed downstairs. The décor really made the cabin feel homey and like an authentic up north...

Beautifully appointed A-frame right on the AuSable river complete with many original features including sinks and tubs and a lovely vintage Tappan electric range with chest height ovens and range that slides in and out. "We found the place to be clean and comfortable. We took our boat and sideXside and enjoyed the lakes and nearby trails. We also took advantage of the grill on the deck and firepit in the backyard. If you don't feel like cooking for yourself or want a good beverage, I highly recommend Lovells Riverside Tavern just down the road. "We loved our stay here! The cabin is gorgeous with wood all throughout. The electric fireplace was great especially for ambiance. The kitchen was setup for anything you might have wanted to cook. The shower with the rainfall option was fantastic! And most importantly we truly enjoyed being secluded with no neighbors. We were able to take in the cleary lite stars and sounds of the wilderness. "My wife and I booked this cabin so we could get away up north for the weekend. We really enjoyed our stay. The property was nice and very clean. It’s in a good location too as it’s pretty centrally located between Grayling and Gaylord about 15 min North or South to head into either town. Plus right up the road from it there is a place called “The Swamp” that has a very good breakfast bar on the weekends. We would book this place again. Thanks for the stay Ronda!"

"From the outside we were worried but the room was awesome. One thing i would change is lower the hot water temp way to high little children may get scolded and its costing you money. But great little place and it's apparent you are making improvements daily. "

"This was a return trip to the area after close to 30 years and we really enjoyed our time. The house itself is in a lovely secluded location and full of amenities. The host was amazing and communication was excellent. The surrounding area was full of great places to eat and drink too. So happy that the fond memories we have of this location remain the same after 3 decades. Will definitely stay at this house again for our next trip!"
