"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."

"Great location and very spacious. Close to station for those arriving by train. Very useful having a washing machine during our stay. Only small area for improvement would be the heating in the bedroom as the radiators never really warmed up so maybe in the colder months would be an issue. Overall, an excellent place to stay with great amenities."

"This place was absolutely spotless! Very accommodating as we were able to store our luggage onsite while we waited for check in. Staff were very responsive. Location wise, it is in a great spot. Tons of food and things to do nearby and everything is walkable. I loved being able to dial in a code to get in and out of the building as well as our room so I did not have to worry about a key card since there is no front desk. Will definitely book with them again next time I am in Scotland! "

"Perfekte Lage. Man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen. Check in ging recht schnell aber die Kommunikation war trotzdem schwierig. Trotz mehreren auffordern langsamer zu reden war das englisch schlecht verständlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber, aber das zusatzbett ( zimmer für 3 Personen gebucht) musste mitten in der Nacht noch selbst bezogen werden.
