"Sarah provided exceptional hospitality, going out of her way to show us the amenities. Our room and the entire first floor of common areas were inviting, well-appointed, art-forward and yet commodious. Breakfast at Warda was “next level” and we appreciated having the vouchers for breakfast each day. Would recommend ALEO to anyone and would stay there again."

"Check in and valet parking was easy. Room was spacious and clean. Separately living room and bedroom is a bonus. Good location for getting to most dining options or take the free Qline to go further out. 10 minute walk to Tigers BB or Lions FB and A short Qline ride to the Detroit Art Institute, which is great! Nice bar in the very large lobby. Shower/Tub was great and the bed was a little worn, but still comfortable. My only advise is to try to get an interior room that doesn’t face the street....

"I was impressed that this was a self-serving boutique hotel however, if there isn’t gonna be any staff, I would suggest that they provide like some type of vending area for toiletries when no one is available for you know maybe extra towels and tissue things of that nature if you’re staying for an extended period of time other than that, the property was nice. I would do an audit of all the kitchen utensils to make sure that your guests have all the things if you’re gonna provide, you know like...

"Overall, okay. We were there for a concert. Tried to take a quick nap but had a staff member barge in the room without knocking (I think to clean carpets). Thankfully had the chain on but it startled me and there went the nap!"

"What an unexpected surprise. We were going to see Lionel Richie at Little Caesars arena and wanted to stay overnight to enjoy the evening. The hotel is a short walk to the arena. The rooms were large, clean and had everything we needed. Parking in the parking lot is also available for a fee. Definitely a great place to stay."

"The Inn on Ferry is a quaint place located midtown Detroit. Excellent welcoming and service while we stayed. The building we stayed in (grey stone) is beginning to show some wear on the inside. Carpets would be a good thing to replace and fixtures (e.g reading light shades) need a little more modernizing. We would stay again without hesitation as it was quiet and still very clean."

"I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Detroit. The staff for the most part was very friendly and reconciled any issues that we had. We did order room service and the food was amazing. The white fish dip is a must try! The gym was great as well. The hotel is right near the water so you get a great view. Walking distance from really good restaurants and the Riverwalk."

"A great and wonderful stay me and my sister booked the room for the Chris Brown and Usher concert and we had a ball. The hotel was very nice and upscale with a lot of amenities that we will have to come back and try. The happy hour was and bar in the room was a bonus. The only thing I will say is if you order the Korean barbecue wings, they only give you two wings, even though it says “shareable”. My sister was disappointed about that. "The property doesn't match the listing. The proximity to downtown Detroit was the only benefit of this property. The room was too small to hold a King sized bed, which left no room to walk to the bathroom. The TV reception was poor and full of static, and the refrigerator didn't work at all. Room service was only available if you requested it, and the space for the breakfast was insufficient. I was very disappointed with my stay."
