Escape to a cozy cabin in the pines just 2 miles from the South Gate of Yosemite National Park. Nestled among young sequoias and towering pine trees, this peaceful mountain retreat is ideal for romantic couples, small families, or a quiet getaway with friends.
Inside, the cabin offers an inviting open layout with a spacious living area, dining nook, and modern, fully equipped kitchen. Relax after a day of adventure with the 55” TV and home theater system, or unwind upstairs in the loft-style bedroom. Bathrooms are conveniently located on the main level.
Step outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air on the large patio and yard, soak under the stars in your private hot tub, or relax in the garden area surrounded by nature, perfect after exploring Yosemite’s trails and waterfalls.
From November through April, a seasonal wood-burning stove adds extra warmth and ambiance on chilly mountain evenings.
Come slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the mountains, just minutes from Yosemite.

Cozy cabin at the doorstep of Yosemite. Very quaint . If you’re looking for a comfortable cabin with access to Yosemite directly down the road, this is your spot. It is right off the main road and close to the general store as well. Highly recommended.

Cute and cozy cabin that we enjoyed staying in with our dog for the weekend. Loved the proximity to Yosemite, and how quiet and secluded it was. The hot tub and the stone shower room were great! The only thing that was a little surprising was that the place looked a little disheveled/unkempt (dirty floors, stuff on the dishes, things scattered about the yard). Looks like it could use a deep clean inside and yard clean up. Otherwise everything was comfortable.

Quaint retreat tucked into the woods. Came up to celebrate my 55th and ended spending the entire time at the property to relax and disconnect. After learning the history of the accomodation it was very intriguing to learn but answered a lot of curiosities we had about the cabin. The owners did a wonderful job converting it into a cozy retreat. We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the hosts. They were very good in communicating and responding.

Adorable, comfortable home in quiet, wooded neighborhood just minutes Yosemite South Gate and close to amenities in Fish Camp and Oakhurst. We enjoyed a relaxing stay. The home was well stocked and in-context instructions/pointers were thoughtfully provided throughout. Our dog especially appreciated being greeted by a welcome basket with things to sniff!

Fantastic location! If you are looking to explore Yosemite and have a sweet place to chill at after this is your place.Located just outside of the south entrance, this place gives you quick access to the National Park and all the beauty with in. After a day of exploring you get to return to a wonderful home. The hosts are excellent to work with. Provide clear direction. Easy check in and check out process. The place is warm and inviting. Has everything you need. We so appreciate our chance to stay here!Highly recommend.

Fun stay at Yosemite

My wife and I stayed in July 2025. We had a great time visiting Yosemite! The location of this house/cabin is fantastic and as long as you are an early riser, no problems with lines getting into park (it's less than 3mi from south entrance). We arrived to park by 645a each morning and it was only a 5min line at most. We were there on weekend in summer, and by 830a, the line is about an hour wait, or longer! The house itself is good if you have a small party (a couple). There are two bathrooms, both on lower level and only bedroom is upstairs, so that is the only negative we had. Otherwise, clean, great location and as described in listing!

Perfect location for Yosemite visits

Cozy cottage was perfect for our 3 days in Yosemite. We went in an out of the park since the home was just 8 mins from the south entrance. The downstairs area is perfect living space with plenty of room. Hot tub was nice after hiking. 2 full bathrooms were a nice plus.
