"Very clean and well kept. If you come with babies, consider bringing a gate for the stairway. Bathroom is downstairs, living area is upstairs. Owner was helpful and obviously loves this little house. Would definitely recommend bringing bugspray if you plan on being outside later in day. Will stay here next time we come. "

"This place is relaxing, clean and comfortable. The sound of rushing water from Crown Creek is nothing short of therapeutic. It's in easy reach of Lake Superior or head the other direction and enjoy the quiet forest. If you plan on grilling, you'll need to bring a portable grill, as the grill is unusable. No tv channels, but who cares."

"Absolutely magical. North Shore Camping Co. is our new favorite place to getaway. It was the perfect blend of adventure and comfort. The tälts were so cool - stylish, cozy, and well thought-out. The amenities were top-notch, and the beautifully lit paths at night made the whole experience feel like a dream. We’re from a northern suburb of Minneapolis and already planning to come back regularly. This place made us fall in love with the Boreal forest and the breathtaking beauty of Lake Superior....

"Thank you for another lovely visit! We enjoyed daily hikes up and down the coast, investigating a few new spots to change things up. The weather was perfectly mixed, and topping off a chilly morning walk or a toasty afternoon climb with a sauna and then a beer on the deck was amazing!! We had everything we needed and were able to fully relax. Thank you!!"

"The cabin or lodge exceeded our expectations. Beautiful vistas overlooking the lake. Comfortable and peaceful living and sleeping areas. Fully equipped kitchen with anything you could need. We loved our stay here!"

"It was chilly and snowy but the views from the deck and from inside the big picture windows were absolutely stunning, and we made use of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit to stay nice and cozy. The only minor downside to this hidden gem of a property is that it has pretty low water pressure - it made washing dishes a bit more difficult and made me not want to even attempt washing my shoulder length hair. But outside of that (again, very minor) this place was truly a little slice of...

"We needed a place to stay on Lake Superior's north shore where some of us would use as a base and others would just stay behind to enjoy the beautiful scenery. This location worked perfectly for us. The space was large and worked nicely. We cooked most of our meals there and were able to get out to the places we wanted to visit. "

The house is cozy and had everything we needed for our stay, including extra blankets for the chilly nights. Beautiful views of the lake. Perfect spot for my parents, sister and our kids to spends quality family together on the north shore."
