Tucked among towering trees and surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Superior National Forest, this inviting retreat offers the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. Located just off Highways 1 and 61, you’ll enjoy easy access to some of the area’s best outdoor recreation, scenic attractions, and charming North Shore destinations—no matter the season.

We absolutely love this property. We have stayed here 3 times now and plan to come back again in the future! We appreciate that there is always an abundance of towels, bedding, pillows, pots/pans, full-sized shower toiletries, and more. Everything you would need from home is here and it's the PERFECT location along the North Shore. We can't wait to be back!

Annual Family Get Together

Great little place for me and my adult kids to stay. We were able to visit Duluth, Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, Beaver Bay, Grand Marais, and Tettegouche for day trips and were able to cook in the well set-up kitchen and enjoy a the beautiful night sky after our full days. Wonderful memories!

Truly Excellent Spot

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house is lovely and well appointed. The wood burning stove was a major bonus! Also Cynthia (host) was great with communication. One of our best VRBO stays to date

The fact we were locked out in the cold. It could have been bad, had Fin not answered his door that night. I just think the old lock and key is a better solution. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was great! The house was perfect for the two of us and in a great location to go to the state parks. The front door lock was a little challenging to figure out at first but if you download the app and look through it beforehand then it would be better. We could have used some zip lock bags for leftovers and a silicone spatula for flipping food on the stove, but other than that it has everything we needed!

Great Cabin in Finland, MN

This cabin was perfect for my boyfriend and myself and two friends who spent the weekend with us. It is a great place close to all the state parks nearby that we reacquainted our friends with. The cabin had all we needed to feel at home. It was also a great location to the maintenance work my boyfriend and I help with on the Superior Hiking Trail. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We hope to be back in the Spring!

My brother and myself wanted a nice place to stay for a few nights while we enjoyed the fall colors of the North Shore area. This place was perfect for us! We were able to bring my dog with us which made it even better. Very comfortable and cozy.
