"We didn't see a soul.
Check in was using a safe box to collect the key.
Check out was dropping the key into a safe box.
Room was clean and pleasant though and we had everything we needed."

"Lovely clean family room, all brand new furnishings so really comfortable. Quiet calm place to stay, self check in so barely see anyone but that’s just fine. Lovely view of sea from room and if not then only ten paces and at sea wall so you can hear it and feel near it. Not much going on in town but just very calm and quaint and authentic so not over touristy, which is perfect. Ideal base for exploring region."

"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"The lodge is beautiful in very peaceful area, it was very clean with everything we needed. We used it mainly for a base as we were traveling so only really slept there. The lodge is situated between 2 other properties and would benefit ( I’m my opinion) with blinds on all lower windows.
The bed is very comfortable but a bit on the narrow side. The shower is fantastic very big and spacious. The Wi-Fi is on the slow side but apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our time there especially when we...
