  • Seadale Lodge is a two bedroom holiday rental property in Filey situated to one side of the caravan park. It was recently fully refurbished and can sleep 4/6 people.

    The lodge is very spacious and furnished in a modern comfortable style. There is ample parking, something that many of Filey's other holiday rentals do not have.

    The living room has two large sofas (one is a sofa bed), a flat screen TV with a DVD player and a formal dining area. There are two thermostatic radiators and a modern "real flame" effect fire. This room is a great place to relax in after a busy day exploring the east coast or playing golf at Filey golf club - which is situated right next to the caravan park. There are windows facing in two directions (one offering a view across Filey) and french doors. There is also a "drop ceiling" which has ambient lighting and dimmer switches.

    The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the utilities that you need, and it also has a breakfast table and four chairs.

    Facilities include - dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, plates, cutlery. Just outside the kitchen there is a private enclosed decking area with patio furniture.

    The bathroom is light and modern with an electric shower and shower screen built over the bath. The hand basin has a vanity unit below and an illuminated mirror. There is an electric towel radiator. Towels are provided for use in the lodge only (not for beach use).

    Both bedrooms have double beds (with linen provided), an electric radiator, dressing table, fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinets that give you plenty of storage.

    Outside there is plenty of parking and there is also an enclosed decked area with patio furniture for those who want to dine al fresco.

Seadale Lodge

On arrival we had smooth check in the owner showed us to the property. Plenty of room,very clean and everything we needed provided. Lovely quiet location with only a 10minute pleasant stroll in to Filey centre. We had a great stay and hopefully will be back soon

Fabulous property

Despite our stay being cut short (personal reasons) the accommodation was excellent. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The site was quiet and within easy walking distance of filey center. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great property located in caravan park. Close to local anemities. Very quiet and clean park with very friendly neighbours. We really enjoyed our stay. Recommend Charlotte's for dinner. Hopefully be back soon.

Lovely big rooms, comfy sofas and beds, plenty of pillows, extra blankets in case it was chilly and a really well stocked kitchen. Easy 15 min walk to the beach and Glen Gardens park, nice walks to the cliffs straight from the site and 15 min walk to Spar.

What a hideaway

Beautiful seadale lodge . What a find . Beautiful and clean absolutely spotless. Everything you need and like being in your own little detached house yet havibg the informality of being on a campsite . Absolutely perfect .

Pleasant stay

A good, recently decorated house with a good outside space in a great location, with easy stroll into Filey. Situated on a very pleasant and quiet caravan site. You will need to bring dishcloths, washing up liquid, spare bin liners and soap as none supplied. Tea, coffee and milk were supplied.

Good accommodation though location not great

Thought place would be next to caravan site rather than in the middle of it! No ‘view of Filey’. However, house was clean, well maintained and well equipped. Would’ve been good if there were a few games/playing cards for rainy days as we had dogs so were limited as to where we could go when it was wet. It was good to have an enclosed and private sitting out area. Car parking close to the bungalow for a second car was easy to find. Overall an enjoyable short stay away with family.

The property was lovely it was allso clean But a bad smell in the wardrobe put me offPutting mine & husbands clothes in. realised It must have been a cot mattress. Also the mattress in the large bedroom was very uncomfortable with the springs in your back when laid on it .also missed not having ovenWare if you want to make anything .was planty of pans though for the hob .also need to up date the directions to the caravan site As padbury ave is not the last rd to go down it just leads to around about you also have to go down Brigg rd then you come to the entrance having said all this we did enjoy are time in filey and in the lodge

Convenient and quite spacious

We (3 people) stayed for a week. The bungalow is situated within the Seadale caravan site, at the highest spot. No views over Filey though (the photo in the ad not from this house).

Quiet site near local amenities

The chalet/bungalow is on a quiet caravan site near the Filey golf club. The centre of town is in walking distance and so no need to get the car out. Highly recommend.
