"This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine...

"We had such wonderful stay here- there where 5of us and everyone had something that suited them. On arrival the host was extremely pleasant and whilst there was a language barrier we all managed to understand each other and she has leaflets to help. "Das Appartment war trotz Bestätigung für uns nicht verfügbar. Es war einfach niemand da! Es ging niemand ans Telefon oder hat auf mails reagiert. Die Wihnung lag im dritten Stock, das Treppenhaus wirkte sehr runtergekommen und roch gar nicht gut.Wir sind also umsonst angereist. Da Hochsaison war, haben wir auch nichts mehr woanders gefunden. Der Urlaub ist somit ziemlich ins Wasser gefallen.Fewo hat uns die Miete aber nach viel, viel Telefonierei voll erstattet. Trotzdem: wir hatten keinen...
