"The hotel room was spacious and beautiful, and had wonderful old world amenities, but in a newly upgraded way. I love the fact that at night you could hear the ocean waves crashing across the street. Additionally, the staff was helpful and super pleasant. What a great place to stay and in a beautiful area!"

"Great location on the sea front. We found it easy to park close to the hotel on the sea front road, although a parking charge of 1 euro per hour applies. The room we stayed in was spacious, well equipped and very clean. All the staff were helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is served at the hotel but comprises a choice from the a la carte menu. Unless you only eat a small breakfast we found was is best value to pay in advance (12 euros)."

"The staff is great. The rooms are neat and the area is perfect. Only one issue came up with the taxes of the hotel charge were 200.00 extra. But that’s something internally between the hotel and Expedia and I was able to get it looked at on my end. All was well. Great people. Most importantly they were kind and generous. "

"I stayed one night at Summerhill House after completing a 3 day hike and preparing to head back to the states the following day. I had a comfortable, spacious room and throughly enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. The employees were all very kind and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."

"The Gleesons Townhouse is a wonderful place to stay. We spent two nights here with our daughter, grandchildren and son. The staff was fantastic, friendly, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. The bottom floor is a very nice restaurant and bar with great food. We were a bit worried about noise but, all 16 of the guest rooms are on the second floor. "One of the nicest hotel stays I've had in a good while. The hotel is lovely, charming and located on a quiet street just outside of the city.
