"My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights as a little getaway. The cottage was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable as well. There was a strong smell of what we think must be burnt popcorn in the kitchenette area. It wasn’t unbearable though. The kitchenette had everything you would need to cook a small meal which was nice. The disposable coffee cups were so nice to have so we could take a coffee to-go. "Great spot on the Grand River! Lots of kayaks and 2 SUPs to explore the nearby side lake. Lovely host. Great back deck, board games, decor, well stocked kitchen for cooking. No dishwasher but lots of paper products. Yucky water but lots of bottled water. "

"My boyfriend and I LOVED this property! It’s gorgeous, spacious, and private. I found the hanging tent incredibly comfortable! Bathroom was clean and actually smelled very nice! Owner was kind enough to share a list of local attractions! We loved exploring the area and especially enjoyed Rosy Mound. If you want to go pack light and prepare for a long hike with steps! Totally worth it for the amazing view and less crowded beach! 10/10 would recommend this spot for a nice private camping trip"

"This is a great place to stay. We celebrated our 50th anniversary with entire family. Even though weather was too cool for beach, everyone had a great time swimming, using the hot tub and playing games. After children were in bed, the adults enjoyed time outside around electronic fire pit. My only negative thought is that if you have any type of immobility issue, you won’t be going down the 83 steps to the beach. "
