"The hotel was amazing. Staff was so warm, friendly, and helpful. Amenities - fruit, water, candy, ice cream in the lobby, cocktails, pastry before bed - were amazing. "Our stay at the Palace Chiado was more like being a guest in a friend’s home than a hotel stay. All the staff is friendly and helpful and truly wants to make your stay the best it can be. There is a fantastic breakfast provided to each suite with lots of variety. We also had welcome pastries and snacks brought to our room in the afternoon. Interactions with the staff were very pleasant and helpful. If you are using Uber/Bolt for pickup or drop-off, they prefer to do so a block away because of the pedestrian traffic and trolley, so be prepared for that; it is less than a block to the pickup spot."
