"This is a Hunter's cabin. Nothing real fancy. Bathroom is not in the same cottage, it's in another cottage across the driveway. The host is very nice. This cottage is in a very peaceful location. "

"It was a nice stay. Very uneventful."

"Republic is pretty much in the middle of the U.P. so everything is a 45 min drive and up for sight seeing, which made it great for what my wife and I planned. Be advised the cell coverage in most of the U.P. is not good.This property is nice and private with a gate at the end of the driveway. The owners Ken and Sara are awesome with communication, they get back to you with great information and a quick response. Will definitely consider this again for future stays. Dan and Melissa"

"Trip up here for a wedding. Enjoyed the layed back atmosphere of cottage. Spent a lot of time on deck talking while taking in the view. Loved all the variety of peony plants in bloom. Great thunderstorm rolled through and following morning roses were full of bumblebees busy collecting pollen and nectar. Will be back. "

"This was our second stay at this property. We were in the area for my daughter’s college graduation - 5 adults. The space was perfect. While we weren’t in the house for very long, the spaces for relaxing and visiting were great. Enjoyed the large kitchen to hang out around the table. Plenty of sleeping space, very comfortable. It was great to be close enough to Marquette but far enough away to get away from the graduation crowds. Definitely recommend. "

"Overall it was a great place to stay. Even with rain we were able to have a good time as a family. The bedrooms are smaller than you would generally expect but the cabin was good and fairly well setup."

"The house surpassed what I expected. It had everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet. I would go back. In fact I didn't want to go home."

We saw wildlife every day, enjoyed walking the neighborhood, and the lake was very peaceful. The only thing that would’ve made it better was if we could’ve stayed longer. "Three families, US, German and Spain....we had a great time together, connecting with our host children's families. The kids loved the lake and amenities.Close to pictured rocks and hiking opportunities we also enjoyed. "

"Owner was very nice and very responsive. Store was convenient but hardly knew it was there. Lots of space for people and pets!"

"My husband and I enjoyed the cottage. The decor was beautiful. We had a very relaxing time and we enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. We saw some deer walking through the property too. There is much you can do in that area. We got some hiking in while and enjoyed good food from restaurants in the area. We will go again and stay longer next time!"

"The property is exactly as advertised. It's well equipped and very comfortable. The location is surprisingly easy to find and about as tranquil as can be. I plan on booking again next fall if at all possible. "

"We stayed in this house during the winter and it was spectacular! We were able to ice skate on the frozen lake and drink hot chocolate by the fire place. But the house has everything you need for the summer! It is also very well stocked if you like to cook. The house was absolutely perfect for our family of 8! Looking forward to coming next summer!"

"Before the warm weather hit we decided to head to to Pine Mountain to snowboard for a weekend in between sports seasons for our kids. We booked this property based on location and past reviews. The house is so close to the mountain and was incredibly clean from top to bottom. There was plenty of space to hang out and plenty of beds for our 3 kids. We would definitely stay here again for our next weekend away. Access to the dryer was appreciated to dry our wet snow things. My only thing...

"Jerry's place is awesome. Secluded enough to not anything but the woods around you. Crystal falls is only a few minutes away with everything you need. The lake has an abundance of fish for any angler. Whether youre looking for some peace and quiet with the family or friends or want to explore iron county and the surrounding areas id reccomend this cabin to anyone. "
