"Thea was such an amazing host! As we walked in, we were greeted with a sweet note and dog treats for our guys. The house and property are beautiful! The windows in the house made for great sunsets and nature watching at breakfast. We even saw an Eagle on one of our hikes around the property. This is also a dogs paradise, it was hard to keep the dogs inside. We stayed almost a week and didn’t want to leave. Everything you needed, Thea had onsite ready for you, pots, pans, detergent, kids toys,...

"SW Wisconsin is so beautiful that if it was near Paris it would be world-famous. But if you want to make a multi-day walking trip there it is hard to find places to stay that are spaced through the region. This spot in Blanchardville made a perfect stop. The room was comfortable, quiet, spacious, and perfectly clean. Very close to downtown restaurants, grocery store as well as easy route to Mineral Point and Dodgeville. "Charm, town accessibility, COWS! We couldn’t have asked for better during our stay! First and foremost the hosts took it above and beyond when we anxiously called them after getting a “shelter in place” alert on our phones due to weather and tornado’s. Without question they helped us with a plan to get access to the basement if we needed to, which from the two anxious mom’s with littles in the house it couldn’t have been more reassuring.
