Faversham is historic not only for its brewery but for its fishing lakes, markets, gunpowder works, and bird watching down harty ferry. If you're into your golf, there is a golf course within a 10 minute drive away called Boughton Golf Club. There is a train station in the town taking you to London or down to the coast of Whitstable or further afield to Margate.
