"Great location just yards from the beach, as base for visiting nearby attractions such as bamburgh castle and Cragside. Rocky in parts but otherwise golden sand beach and again short walk to Seahouses. Just lovely seaside resort. Hotel staff friendly and food excellent with choice of dining room or lounge to relax. "This boutique hotel is perfect in every way. A fantastic location close to the beach and other local areas like Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster, Alnwick and Beadnell village. "Friendly staff, nice breakfast, unfortunately no hot water for the whole weekend. Staff kept saying it was repaired but that wasn't the case. The weekend, was cold and wet so no hot shower was pretty grim."

"Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights.
