"Extremely disappointed. Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different.
Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house.
Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented.
Please avoid

"Property is not inhabitable in the heat, we were due to stay during the heatwave and unfortunately as the entire side of the property is glass and how it faces, it gets even warmer in the evening as the sun comes round. We had taken tower fans with us in preparation but unfortunately due to travelling with a very small baby and a toddler we were not able to stay at the property more than a few hours as our baby became distressed in the temperature. Disappointed at the response from the host...

"Got to the location and realised I had not had an email with check-in instructions. I called the host and the number was not in use anymore. Contacted verbo (who were absolutely lovely) and they could also not get in contact with the host. Did not end up staying here!!"

"Without doubt one of the best stay experiences I’ve had in a long time, from quality of accommodation, ideal location and excellent communication.. end to end everything you want and more from a stay. Host was super responsive I. Communications and really attentive to our needs even configured the beds in the bedrooms as we needed.
